Shake & Holla Tour featuring North Mississippi Allstars & Rebirth Brass Band with special guest Cedric Burnside. The Sheldon Theatre is not simply a venue for performing arts in Minnesota; it's also a driver of outreach activities in the neighborhood. As a community theater in Red Wing, MN, we provide artists with space to share their art and help others grow skills through volunteerism and support of our local shows.
There's so much more to do, on and off stage.

Charming theatre with an excellent lineup this season. Free street parking is easy to find, and the Playbills always list local restaurants and pubs that will be open after the show, which I really appreciate. I love the Twin Cities theatre scene, but at 1/5 the cost, Red Wing and the Sheldon Theatre really deliver something special.

We saw Gaelyn Lea and then Dessa here during the Big Turn Music Fest and it was our first time at the Sheldon. We thought it was a great little theater and actually had quite nice sound acoustics! It's restored and painted beautifully.
The first show we sat in the middle of the main floor and then the next show we moved up to the balcony and were lucky enough to get two seats closest to the left front along the rail. That was the way to go, amazing view!

Had a tour of this beautiful theater this past weekend and it's simply stunning. Kudos to the people of Wabasha for preserving this little architectural gem. I haven't seen a show here, but imagine it would be wonderful as it's a small, intimate theater that holds about 450. The stage has a rising/descending section up front for a pit. You'll love all of the little details, the lighting, etc.
They're slowly working to restore the theater and repair paint. If you have the opportunity to visit or see a show here, do so.

Saw the Wailin' Jennys here. Beautiful details to explore while in your seat. Not a bad seat in the house as it is a smaller theatre with balcony. Best feature by far though: lots of bathroom stalls. Fastest move through line in women's bathroom during intemission at a concert EVER! Nice location with lots of options within walking distance for post-concert cocktails and chocolate mousse. :)
