Granite, one of the hardest natural minerals, is primarily made up of quartz and feldspar. Granite allows hot objects such as hot pans to be placed directly on the surface of the granite. As granite is a porous material it requires proper periodic resealing with a penetrating sealer at least once every few years to prevent staining.

PJ was a pleasure to work with from the start. He was very helpful and never gave me that pushy sales guy vibe. I absolutely LOVE my kitchen! He did my cabinets and quarts counter tops. He went above and beyond a few times, dropping off extra things after installation. The crew that installed the cabinets were very nice and did an amazing job! I found PJ on Yelp and am glad I did. We had new backsplashes, countertops, and sinks installed. PJ was responsive during the bidding process, provided valuable feedback on certain items around the kitchen (did you consider new faucets, what about the quality of the garbage disposals, etc.), and met the timeline we discussed. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share my very positive experience with 1 Day Kitchen. We hired PJ because he seemed very competent and trustworthy - and we were not disappointed. He did a beautiful job on our kitchen remodel and stayed within the 2-week timeline that he promised. We had heard so many horror stories of delayed kitchen renovations so timing was important to us, and PJ definitely delivered. My wife and I needed a backsplash in our kitchen. We reached out to 1 Day Kitchen & Bath on Yelp in order to get a price quote. Within minutes, PJ got back to us and gave us a quote. It was much better than the other companies we checked out.
PJ then set up a meeting for us to come into his office and check out some samples. He also explained all of the options and prices, which were exactly what PJ said they would be. We then worked out a deal and made an appointment for the work to be done.

Great company. They helped me redo my kitchen with brand new cabinetry and island. Everyone remarks on how beautiful my kitchen is and asks whether I had a professional designer do the job. It's been a few months since they finished the job and the cabinets are still soft-closing and everything is super sturdy. Quality work. Highly recommend.

PJ came to the house and realized that he would not be able to do the job you would like to until I had my floors installed first. He pointed something out that everybody else missed. This guy really knows his stuff and I'm so glad he saved me a ton of future headaches. He refunded my deposit right away and was really concerned about doing an excellent job. This is an admirable trait and I appreciate it. I will have my floors installed First and see about having him come on back to the house for a future installation.

PJ, the owner, directly answered all my inquiries. I'm very impress! I've been exchanging messages with PJ for the last couple of days , he was very clear, and detailed - a nonsense, no BS type of guy. I'm using him to drill two holes for my pop up outlet in my master bedroom that my designer's guy said it would cost an arm and a leg to do. I was contemplating not even doing it , but then I came across 1 Day Kitchen on Yelp and PJ seems cool and his pricing is very reasonable- I'm paying a bit more than what he quoted me originally but not that much more because my outlets

I hired 1 Day Kitchen and Bath to build a conference room table and do the kitchen granite in my office kitchen. We are a high end law firm in Los Angeles, I needed to make sure the work showed it. I was thrilled with the results (see pictures I posted). Not only was it done in a timely fashion, but it was also a pleasure dealing with PJ and his crew. I would recommend this company to everyone. I walk in this shop by chance one day with a friend to get a quote. They were very responsive and professional from day one. He gave my husband and I a great quote we couldn't refuse half the price we would've paid at the popular hardware stores. PJ is great to work with he will help you stay within your budget. We have a beautiful kitchen now that we are very happy with!! The cabinets are great quality as well as the counter top and floor. We get lots of compliments!!
