We have several outreach and education programs that allow us to serve our community and change lives through dance by promoting and fostering the development of classical and contemporary ballet through high-quality performances, dance education and community outreach. Is an informal studio chat with Artistic Director Tracey Alvey and a brief performance by company members.
The Alabama Ballet School provides the highest quality training to aspiring artists of all ages that is developmentally appropriate both physically and artistically. The Alabama Ballet School's instruction is based on the syllabus provided by the Royal Academy of Dance in London which takes into consideration the particular level of development of each child within that level.

The Alabama Ballet school is the official school of Alabama Ballet, a professional company. Located in an old railroad storage facility that has been remodeled to accommodate dozens of dancers, the school offers classes in traditional ballet (including Pointe), tap, and ballroom. The classes are usually taught by current or former members of the professional company. The instruction is very high quality. Classes are offered for children aged three and up, as well as adult ballet classes for beginning and intermediate dancers. Children of the ballet school school often participate in the company
