He was the renovation manager for nine years for one of the top swimming pool companies in Dallas. Darren's wife and partner, Carla, has been in the health care industry for 26 years. Her last 3 positions were Administrator in Memory care assisted living communities. They decided to start A Veterans Pool Company several years ago as a side company.

My wife Carla and I are a team in this business, A Veteran's Pool Company. Along with my military past, we are faithful followers of Jesus Christ and we bring both of those to the business. We believe in integrity, honor, great communication, keeping our word. We personally oversee every job by being on site regularly.

Here are a few ways we give back to our community: The Blessing Box is a food pantry the owners placed in their front yard a few years ago to help anyone that needs a little food to get by. They also set up a coat tree to provide warm coats during the winter months.

Darren and his company literally saved the day for us. We had started a pool building project 11 months ago with another company that did not fulfill their contract. Luckily, my wife was able to track down A Veterans Pool Company. Darren did everything with the city in order to work in our area within hours of us speaking. He was back out at our house the next day with a crew ready to work. We had been waiting on the other company for several months to finish what Darren and his company finished in a couple of weeks. I wouldn’t work with another company other than A Veterans Pool Company again

What a FANTASTIC experience working with Darren and his friendly and knowledgeable crew. Trying to find a honest pool company with owners who take pride in their work and value their customers can be a very daunting task . My husband and I really LUCKED out finding A Veterans Pool Company. They went above and beyond to do quality work and took the time to explain each and every detail of the pool renovation process and Educating myself and my husband on the workings of the pump and much more ! We asked Darren to help us with remodeling our pool. His team did a great job. We ran into a hickup in that the air ports for the hot accidentally got covered up. Darren addressed the problem and made it right. I would definitely use a veteran pool company again!

My wife and I are first time pool owners and had wanted to add some decking to our existing pool but couldn’t get anyone to come out and give us an estimate so I called Darren and he said that he could come by that night. We gave him our vision of what we were looking for and he also had some great ideas. We signed a contract and they started work 2 days later. Darren and his crew were great to work with from start to finish of the project and they kept us involved throughout the entire process. We would recommend Darren and his company to anyone that is looking to have their pool area renovated

They did such a wonderful job let me tell you, I am a very brand new pool owner, and don’t know much about pool maintenance. He helped me get ready for that crazy ice storm that we had. I got through it miraculously with no damages and power for two days!! He is always there and available to help you out with any problems that come up in the project.
If you need your pool remodeled or serviced I would definitely recommend them no questions about it!!
