I have been going to SunSeekers Portsmouth for the last 18 years for everything from spray tan, teeth whitening, red light therapy and pre-vacation tanning. Best equipment around - staff and owner are super friendly and knowledgable about their services and products. It's always clean, bathrooms too. Sportarredo Master Sun High Pressure is a 15 minute maximum bed with 25,000 watts of tanning power and emits 99.9% UVA light to oxidize and brown up melanin cells for rapid color. This bed has adjustable facial lamps and fans as well as a cell phone hook up. Our High Pressure Booth is a 15 minute maximum.
Custom Sunless Airbrush spray tans are perfectly applied by one of our Norvell Certified Sunless technicians. Venetian: An exotic sunless formula with a unique combination of violet and brown tone bronzers, designed to mimic skin colors found on the beautiful beaches of the European Riviera. Great for any skin tone, especially those with fair and extremely fair skin tones.
We now offer FormoStar Far Infrared Body Wraps! Speed up your metabolism and burn up to 1,400 calories in just one 55 minute treatment session! Our body wrap assists in weight loss, detoxifying, and pain management. Diminish the appearance of cellulite, and contour/ slim your trouble zones while you relax!
We have levels 1,2,3, and 4. The higher the level, the better the bed; this means the higher up in level you go, you are more likely to tan quicker while being less likely to burn. You will get better color in the higher levels along with a longer lasting tan. The lower levels will take more sessions to get the same results and will take more to maintain your desired color as well.

When I first moved to the area I needed a place to tan in preparation for my vacation. I decided to try Sunseekers and have been going there off and on ever since. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I've been places where some beds may have a bulb or 2 out; which of course happens, but it would be months before they replaced them. I have never even seen a bulb out at Sunseekers. Tanning these days is pricey anywhere. They often run great specials. They offer several package options. A m a z i n g. This salon and it’s staff was a breath of fresh air. My other salon’s staff were so unwelcoming, which lead to me slowly but surely never going back there, ESPECIALLY after finding this place. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff were SO welcoming, I walked in and immediately loved it. This is by far the best place you could choose to get your tan on.

The owner has little to no customer service skills and is extremely rude, apparently POC can't tan???? If this were a questionnaire, I would be 'highly dissatisfied' with every aspect of service, the shop wasn't very clean, had a strange smell, and the owner was very evasive when I asked about the girl that I normally see..come to find out she quit. With ownership having the maturity/professionalism levels of my 11 year old niece, that's not a surprise guess I will NEVER be coming back here again. And, in the words of the great Sam Smith, '...I know I'm not the only one...'
