Oxbow High School is a grade 7-12 union high school in Bradford, VT. Opened in the Fall of 1971, it serves the students of Bradford and Newbury and accepts tuition students from surrounding Vermont and New Hampshire towns. The school continues to meet the needs of students with a traditional schedule of 45 minute periods in a 7 period day.
A safe, orderly environment is necessary to support student achievement. A coordinated effort among students, parents, educators and community members will keep our schools safe. Through study, planning, education and follow-up, Oxbow High School will continue to be a safe environment that supports student learning.
All students are required to comply with Vermont's immunization recommendations, and, as of this year, only religious beliefs and medical conditions verified by a health care provider will be permitted as reasons for not immunizing children. I will be checking all student records and contacting parents whose children need vaccinations.
The Oxbow High School Counseling Program is designed to facilitate each student's exploration of interests, skills, and values as they relate to career awareness. Through this process we strive to assist students and parents in finding the most appropriate options for students once they graduate from high school.
