The firm is a multidisciplinary design consulting firm in Williamstown, Massachusetts and offers services that include civil and environmental engineering along with property and topographic survey, landscape architecture, wetland consulting and architecture.

Back-up Power - In the event of a utility outage its always good to have a backup, right? This setup uses a battery(s) to discharge stored energy when grid power isn't available. Whether it's a planned outage or weather emergency you can keep the lights on. Fully scalable we can size the battery for running a few loads for a few hours or the entire house for days.

New England Solar + Green has the most up to date information on state and federal tax incentives available for your solar installation. We handle the paper work from applying to state incentive and rebate programs to outlining the savings from the solar generation. Net metering is a solar incentive that allows you to send electricity to the electric grid.

We recently had our system installed and up and running. Working with NESGS was a great experience. Right from the start Andrew kept up great communication. He was very prompt and thorough with his answers to all the questions we had. He went above and beyond to help us get the financing and incentives available to us here in NY. He also worked out the best equipment to cost ratio to optimize our incentive situation with our finances. Andrew at NES+GS was a dream to work with from the start to finish of our solar panel project. All of the professionals he uses (excavator, electrician, etc) are also top of the line. We live in an 1830's house with dirt basement and Andrew and his crew handled the quirks of an old structure with ease. We were able to complete our project quickly and efficiently - and rarely had to be at home for the work to be done (a plus!). Andrew was a pleasure to work with and we are thrilled with our solar system. He was so meticulous in fact that during the installation he sent back materials for our array mount to the supplier to make sure it was perfect. He later showed up to trim a branch that was shading a panel in the upper corner (said he was monitoring our usage and noticing the underperforming panel so came by to take care of it - who does that?!) Our production has exceeded expectations and we have not paid an electric bill since installation this summer. Can't recommend NE Solar and Green Solutions enough.

I approached NESGS after receiving several recommendations and never looked back! They installed a 21kW ground mounted solar array and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the results.
Our site was unique as the array had to clear a service driveway and our 8ft tennis court fence (just take a look!). The project exceeded our expectations in every area!
