I cannot say enough great things about South Farms. My husband and I just recently got married there. The venue is beyond gorgeous and the owners and staff are so accommodating. It was by far the best day/night of my life. I would highly recommend booking at this venue if you want the most perfect rustic wedding!

Bill Burr show. The grounds are beautiful. Easy parking. The good review stops there. The pricing for a grid on the side of the stage that we had to rely on the screens to see who was on stage is the same as the grids directly in front of the stage. All the grids are on a down slope so your almost better off not bringing a lawn chair and just sit on the ground on a blanket. My lawn chair was so much tilted towards the stage it fell over a couple time while I was trying to stand up. The sound system is horrible. We went through periods that we couldn't even hear what the comedians were saying

South Farms is one of the most stunning and versatile wedding venues in the state. From the big barns to the rolling hills and nooks and crannies throughout, it is a delight to work in as a photographer! Every time I get a job there I am excited, no matter the time of year- rain or shine! The staff is always helpful and informative and all of my clients have felt cared for and attended to. Can't recommend this place enough.

I am a vendor that has seen a couple of weddings at South Farms and they know how to throw a party! The staff is so welcoming and the space can host a party that the most formal to the most fun loving families (and everything in between) will enjoy. The property is amazing and the owner has transformed his family farm into this beautiful event space. I have been looking all over CT for an interesting and beautiful wedding venue for my daughter who lives abroad. South Farms is exactly the venue I was looking for. First, the venue as a whole is fantastic. The barn is authentic, cool and constantly improving. As a multi generation actual cattle barn, they have done an incredible job preserving as much of the building history and barn vibe as possible (it is still a working farm) while also allowing the venue to be functional and efficient for this kind of complicated event.
