Finding a dentist you can trust can be difficult. Many people only think about their dentist twice a year when it is time for their semi-annual teeth cleaning. Our dentist prevents cavities and helps us have good oral hygiene, but many dentists offer a full array of services. Ted French has been providing full-service dental care in Arlington for decades.

His clients appreciate his customer service and his gentle touch when he is whitening their teeth. Dr. French has been serving the Dallas and Fort Worth area for more than 25 years. Many of his patients have not had to use all of his services, but as a cosmetic dentist he offers a comprehensive selection of dental services including emergency dental care.
Services
Dr. Ted French is committed to providing the highest quality dental services in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. His treatment philosophy stems from the working partnership he strives to create with each one of his patients. Every individual is different, and every treatment plan should reflect those differences.
Achieving a perfect smile is difficult, but keeping it that way is even harder. A beautiful smile begins with proper dental hygiene. Having poor dental hygiene can lead to your smile losing its luster, becoming yellowed, or can even cause severe dental problems such as a buildup of plaque, cavities, and gum disease.
Dr. Ted French, in addition to the Gendex 3D dental imaging equipment also purchased a 3M True Definition Intraoral Camera to help him scan his patients' teeth. This digital dental impression system eliminates the need to take impressions the old-fashioned way. When the scanner makes its impression, it sends it in digital form straight to the lab.
Pain control is a top priority in dentistry care of patients. Advances in pain control in the dentistry field have resulted in new painless anesthetic techniques. The result is that patients now have more anesthetic options than before.

Computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery systems and other comfort control systems enhanced by jet-injection technology, which uses mechanical pressure to release a liquid medication dose into the subcutaneous tissue without a needle. It offers optimal pain control during anesthetic preparation for dental treatment or surgery.
When you are missing one or more teeth in the same area, you will have a gap in your smile. A dental bridge will close that gap, by inserting a crown or implant into the area. The teeth on either side of that gap are called abutment teeth. The pontic or false tooth that will be placed into the gap can be made out of a few different materials such as porcelain, alloy, and gold or any combination of these.

Highly recommend Dr. French. I had a tooth abscess that caused my face to swell. I had two ER visits, and a recommendation from a specialist that I have my canine pulled. I went to Dr. French, who correctly identified the tooth that abscessed as my back molar, which saved me from having an unnecessary extraction and got to the root of the infection. I was and am thankful to Dr. French, as was my whole family. Also, Letty in Dr. French's office is awesome!

Dr. French is simply amazing!! I found him on the 24/7 ER Dental line and I'm so glad I did. I get really nervous going into dental offices because of all my bad experiences. This was the first time I have EVER had any major dental work without being completely knocked out! THE ABOSOLUTE FIRST! This dentist is heaven sent. He made me feel extremely safe in his hands. His entire office makes you feel right at home. When you walk in there, you're family. I love love love them so. THE BEST TEAM OF INDIVIDUALS EVER!
YOU GUYS ROCK!

I had a terrible experience at an "dentist" before I went to Dr. French. He (Dr. French) and his entire staff for that matter helped me out so much! They are a great team and I am so glad to have found him. They will help you out in whatever ways they can, they actually helped my grandmother with a payment plan for her bridge since her insurance would only pay a certain portion. THIS IS A GREAT DENTIST AND TEAM, YOU SHOULD GO HERE!!! I recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist!

I found Dr French by accident googling 24/7 emergency clinics and he was the only one that was able to see me the same day. Dr French and his team really made me feel at home and like family. He informed me that I had a root canal that needed to be taken care of. I was able to be seen in just a few days and the root canal was absolutely painless. I was astounded. I have never in my life had a dentist appointment that didn't cause me severe pain at some point. Dr. French is the best of the best. I would recommend them to any and everyone looking for a pain-free dentist.

I developed a tooth ache on a holiday week end. I live in St. Louis and could not get anyone to help me. I flew to Dallas, hoping to get help in a larger city. Dr. French personally answered our call on a Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m. We met him on a holiday in his office on Monday and he took great care of me. I am scared to death of dentist and he eased all my fears and I would not see anyone else.

First of all who likes going to the dentist. ....Not this girl. ..lol. Let me start by saying this I was a little lost so when I called the office Dr. French answered the phone. I have never called ANY Dr and they answered their own phone. ...lol, next he met me outside (how is that for customer service). Then my blood pressure was high due to my anxiety of being at the dentist so his staff went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. They sat me back in the chair gave me a blanket and a pillow to rest my neck on until I was finally relaxed. I swear I didn't want to leave....lol. I

When you wake up with a throbbing tooth on a Sunday morning, you are usually out of luck. But Dr. French was available, took the appointment and met us with a friendly hug and reassuring smile. He took care of us with laughs, information and meds to help with the pain. He explained our options, helped us understand the what and the way of the toothache and kept us laughing the entire time.

It was more like catching up with a friend than meeting a new dentist while enduring a toothache. GREAT bedside manner. Skilled and professional. Latest technology without pretentious attitude.

Cant wait

As experienced and friendly as a dentist can be. His first priority is to become as familiar with every aspect of his patients as possible and accomodate their concerns. Every positive review you could read on here is accurate and speaks for the top notch service Dr. French and his staff provides. Highly recommended.

Super nice and funny guy. Nice office and nice staff. It didn't take long what I came in for. If I went anywhere else I would have had to come for a subsequent visit for my procedure. Glad to have him as my dentist.

Dr. French is, by a wide margin, the most caring and most experienced dentist I've ever visited. He met me in his office on a holiday after I had cracked a tooth. He didn't know me at the time. He extracted the tooth and is in the process of doing the implant. He listens, spends time with his patients and, as previously mentioned, genuinely cares about them. It's obvious that he enjoys dentistry and enjoys people. Dr. French has a patient for life!

About Dr. French:

We first met early on a Sunday morning in 1992 after I spent Saturday night frantically trying to find anyone to see me for an abscessed tooth. How lucky for me that he picked up the phone that evening.

And so, Dr. French has been my dentist for 22 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He listens when I voice my concerns and always puts my best interest first.
