Lion's Share Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial cooperative that was established in 1982 as Food Lion Credit Association CU. In 2007 our name changed, but our purpose remained the same; to serve only one common bond, the hard working employees and retirees of Delhaize America, along with their family members.
The mission of the Lion's Share Federal Credit Union is to provide our members with quality financial services at competitive rates and in a courteous and efficient manner, while maintaining a sound financial structure. Our purpose is to promote thrift by encouraging savings and offering loans, both at competitive rates of interest.
To ensure your account will be opened in a timely process, you will be asked to upload/attach a copy of your valid, government issued ID to the application. If the address on your ID does not match your current address, you should attach/upload a copy of a utility statement showing your current address along with your ID.
Your Membership Savings Account is the foundation of your relationship with Lion's Share FCU. By maintaining a $25 balance in Savings, you have access to the Lion's Share of financial products and services. Deposits can be made through payroll deduction, direct deposit, BluePay or at any of our Shared Branch Locations.
Make checking account purchases easier with the convenience of your Lion's Share FCU VISA Check Debit Card. Our Visa Debit Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. Your Debit Card also works as an ATM card when used at an ATM and allows access to the available funds in your savings account. For your safety, we limit ATM withdrawals to $500 per card, per day.

So it was a horrible day for many associates today. Without any warning our federal credit union decided to change our payday. Like most we live pay check to pay check. So by pushing our payday back it really hurt some of your so called valued member. One of my coworkers even had her lights cut off because of it. Its just one day but you encourage all of us to bank yall to support delhaize and get paid a day early but then decide no you are no longer going to honor your words. And don't even give your members a heads up.😡😡😡

The absolute worst bank in America. Go to state employees, and as bad as they are they are better than this bank. I applied for a loan and they take forever to call you back and update you. They are so unprofessional and don’t know where they left off at. The manager told me one thing like she was gone help me she then ended up sending me to another rep who wanted to send me back to her. My credit is decent and I just needed a start and refresh and they didn’t even try or attempt to work with me. One of reps even tried to refer my stimulus as a loan and not them......

My debit card expired on Feb 28th, and my new card did not show up. So I place a call and a message on March the 1st . I was told they are having trouble getting cards out which I can understand due Covid. The lady today me I can reissue a new card and guess what today is March 16th and I still do not have my new debit card. So I called again and was told the same I will look into and to see what's taking so long. Still no CARD, Also the loan officer back in Oct never contacted a dealership so I could buy a truck and of course it was sold.

I have been a member of this credit union since 2012, never have I needed assistance that they did not provide or give me guidance with. my last experience was with Joan the loan officer . awesome from start to finish thank you Joan. we need more of you. Customer Service goes a long way.

This is one of the best banks by far. They have been great for me over the last five years, thru thick and thin. The staff sent both me and my husband a card when we almost lost him because of his heart. I live in MD and we use Sandy Springs as well. But I told hubby I am keeping my credit union account, because they are awesome. Thanks everyone at Lionshare FCU.

I've been a member for going on twenty years, and even when I left Food Lion I kept my account. I'm SO glad I did.
Having worked as both a teller and an admin at big banks in the past, I have a deep appreciation for the personal touch and the attention delivered by a smaller credit union like this. When my mother died, they sent a lovely card. And every time I've had an issue, even if it was of my own making, they have always been courteous, friendly, helpful, and full of excellent advice. I got to know folks like Mary Jo (I still miss her!), Susan, and others by name and every one is just as

I was recommended to lions share by my store manager after I totalled my car and would need to get a new one, and he gave a Joan's name and number. Joan was very helpful and even got my loan taken care of within a day! She was quick and patient with me. I have worked for the company for over 16 years and this is my first time dealing with the credit union and I will definitely recommend it to other employees!! Thanks Joan!

Just dealt with the rudest loan officer I have ever dealt with. Very poor communication and abrupt holds. She acted as if she didn't have time to deal with me. One second I was talking then she say hold and all I hear is music. I could hear her eating. Just very rude and unprofessional. I will be closing my account and taking my business elsewhere. I've been with the company 12 years and expected better service. Most of the time you call they never answer the phone. I can't stand when someone in customer service cuts me off and talks down on you. Never again. Rant over
