For a fee (also called the premium) we get a person out jail, and guarantee to the court that we will make sure that the person appears before the court at the proper time. In the state of Nevada the fee for a bail bond is set by NRS 697.300(a), which states The rates must be 15 percent of the amount of the bond or $50, whichever is greater.
