This is the best Waxing the City studio because here you can find NATALIE! I am so happy that she’s finally back after having her baby! She is the BEST cerologist I ever had! She is very kind and professional. I really love how thorough she is and how confortable she make me feel during all my waxing services. I definitely recommend her!!!<3

Natalie is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! While she was out on maternity leave I tried many other waxers and NO ONE comes even close to her! I could not wait till she came back. She is extremely thorough and really makes sure every hair is gone in a painless manner. She is super friendly and kind always greeting you with a smile! I went here for waxing with Emily. She was professional, caring and never made me feel uncomfortable! She talked me through and awkwardness and took precautions for cleanliness in the room. All cdc precautions were taken throughout the entire establishment. I will be returning. 👍👍

So, I booked my second lash lift and tint appt with Michelle for today. I had a whole saga in which I was 8 minutes late, and their policy is that customers cannot be more than 7 mins late to an appt. Michelle called to tell me she couldn’t see me as I was pulling into the parking lot.
I was super upset (also 6 months pregnant, so you know, hormones), and Michelle expertly navigated the situation, she called the next client and asked if she could shift her appt to another wax provider just so she could fit me in. I was greeted with smiles by Cindy and she answered all my questions. I was very nervous it being my first time. Michelle was amazing. She listened to my concerns and fears before she started. I felt like I knew her for years. Painless and quick Brazilian wax. I highly recommend her.

I’ve been going to waxing the city Clark for a little over a year now and every apt I have is a lovely experience. Recently Hema waxed me and she was so warm and welcoming, made me feel super comfortable and gave a relatively pain free wax. The front desk workers are also friendly too and the salon is crystal clean. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

As a walk-in on my first visit to this location I was impressed that the staff was very attentive and helpful. They were able to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. When I arrived for my appointment I was again greeted promptly and professionally, and introduced to my Cerologist, Emily. Emily was friendly and professional, immediately putting me at ease. Emily was very skillful and efficient in her work. I was very satisfied and look forward to having her take care of my future appointments. The only equal in service and friendliness I've found was when visiting a Waxing in the City

I couldn't get an appointment ANYWHERE!! Once i called waxing the city in Montclair the gentleman was SO helpful! Traffic was so horrible so i wouldn't make it at a certain time but he was able to fit me in with Danielle! She is super kind!! Can't wait to go back!! I broke up with European wax center a few months ago and started coming here. I think they are impeccably clean, do an excellent job and I never feel rushed or cramped in the waiting room (I still have nightmares over European wax center waiting room and the tardiness of the waxers). I've also always been seen on time. With Brazilians, I refuse to pay less and take a chance on unhygienic practices, The waxers are all VERY thorough and take their time. I also like that they allow you to dress and undress in private. It's a very respectful, upscale environment. Well worth paying

I must say my first visit today was a five star experience from beginning to end. I was recommended by my sister to try Waxing The City about a month ago and finally decided to give it a try. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the manager immediately and offered a bottle of water. He checked me in and I was seen by Michelle right away. I was immediately impressed by Michelle because the wax was not painful at all! She made me feel very comfortable and even took time to explain the type of wax she was using. Five stars for a waxing experience? Hard to believe I know. This was my first time at Montclair's Waxing the City and I was so impressed! Bethany was my waxer and addition to being such a doll, she was a real pro. I highly recommend her! Note that she's only there Saturdays and Sundays so book your appointments before she fills up! She kept the conversation lite, but knew EXACTLY what she was doing! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy / comfortable with the wax.

New to area and looking for a locally owned studio.
Erfan and his team are very personable and have great customer service. They put the customer first and that's hard to find these days. Also they validate your parking which can be quite the hassle in no parking Montclair Bloomfield Ave.

Michelle is very detail oriented and gets every hair literally!! She is great, go see her at WTC

I came here to try their waxing services from brows down to the legs and to my surprise it exceeded my expectations. The Owner, Irfan was so nice and accommodating. The reviews I've been reading about Michelle are absolutely true! She's attentive to every hair details and see to it that nothing's left.

For the first time, I'm actually excited to write a review. I just had the most amazing wax experience.. EVER! Alyssa was sweet, meticulous, and funny! From the moment I walked through the door to my way out, I felt like I was almost in a dream.. I thought to myself, there is no way a person can have a great experience their entire visit. The staff proved me wrong. LOL I don't remember the receptionist name at the front desk, but she was very helpful when I had questions about their amazing scented candles. I definitely will be back for my next appointment and I am going to recommend

Alyssa is amazing. She is so meticulous and seriously leaves no hair behind. She's a waxing goddess!!!!! Also she's funny and makes the whole experience pleasant.

The facilities are super clean. They don't double dip, everything is with a fresh stick and their wax is painless. It's the red stripless kind.

I came in on a weekday for a wax. The staff was very welcoming from the moment I walked in. The lobby itself was very clean and taken care of. After arriving I filled out a few forms and was quickly welcoming into my room.

Similarly to the lobby, the waxing rooms were neat, clean and welcoming. The staff informed me of how to get read and were very conversational. During the wax itself I felt reassured and was also taught a few tips during my appointment.
I really I greatly enjoyed my visit to WTC and will probably return soon!

The studio is clean, beautiful and spacious. It's less of a waxing studio and more of an 'experience'. The lobby area has a shop with lots of different skin and makeup products and there is a really cute photo booth and charging station. The staff is sweet and friendly and greets you with a smile. They also have complimentary water bottles and the lobby smells incredible.

Now, on to the wax--

I had an event here and then came in for a wax a few weeks later. The waxing was quick and painless and my eyebrows came out looking great. It's been a week and the clean look and shape

I have to agree with the other reviews, this place is simply the best! Eyebrows are a BIG deal and it is easy to mess them up. Alyssa did a great job of shaping and perfecting my brows. I was very happy with my experience and will definitely be back!

FYI- parking is hard to find in the area.

I came to Waxing The City for the Elite event this past weekend and I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had waxing.

The facility itself is super clean. Everyone was super friendly. When I entered my waxing room, I loved how comfortable I felt when walking in. Alyssa my waxing specialist explained the type of wax they use in their facility. She expressed how it is hard wax but they apply smaller strips so the hair will take longer to grow especially when you apply it the way the hair is growing. It was honestly the most painless waxing I've ever had. I wish
