This was a great home base for our White Mountain adventure.

We were able to tube the Saco, drive through the rolling fog of Mount Washington, swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub, steam in the sauna, play some skee ball, play some air hockey tournaments, do laundry, sleep peacefully, all in all I can not say enough about this perfect 1 bedroom condo in the White Mountains.

I will return!

Very disappointed, found them on trivago, while browsing for a thanksgiving get away location, all the amenities we were looking for were listed for the right price. So I called to book 2 king rooms, the person I spoke with was helpful, holding 1 room for my sister in-law to call with her info. Never were we told that it was a homeowner association, we thought it was just a regular hotel. After checking in with a rude front desk person, we unpacked and headed to the pool and hot tub area. We had adult beverages in plastic cups like we've done at any other hotel we've ever stayed at

There is a nice pool and hot tub located in the lower lever of this hotel. I simply wish I felt more comfortable when trying to enjoy these amenities. As my boyfriend and I were walking to the pool, the maintenance man followed us down the steps and was basically walking on top of us. I had to move over because he was running behind me with loud footsteps. My boyfriend was holding a WATER BOTTLE. We are 26 years old and this man told us to HIDE the water bottle because we are being watched on the cameras and the owners wont be afraid to throw us out. UMM, so you're telling us we can stay hydrated

Paper thin walls. It's ridiculous. There is a quiet hour of 11pm (probably voted on by the homeowners association), so even if someone is blasting loud music at 10:30pm and you can clearly hear it in your room, they won't/can't do anything about it.
Also this hotel attracts the type of clientele who attempt to sing a Capella at midnight in the hallway.
Two stars because facilities are fine except for the walls.

We rented a one bedroom with loft to celebrate my daughters birthday. We arrived Friday afternoon. When we arrived and went to room it was disgusting extremely dirty. We cleaned the room and brought all what was picked up and cleaned down to front desk. The only response we got from an elderly woman was she does not care it was her last day. There was no management to speak to we were told by the same woman. The pool was cold not heated? Does. It make sense for an pool not to be heated. Cable went out when we went to complain same attitude. My spouse had to work on Friday so he arrived late that

Came here for a wedding. Location is gorgeous. Way overpriced for what it was. Musty smelling rooms, uncomfortable beds. No full length mirror so when my friend and I were all dressed up we had no idea what we looked like. Lol.
Beds barely fit in the room and the bathroom was a shoe box.
Go somewhere else if you're staying up there. Not worth the money.
I gave it 2 stars for the view

Booked this place for a little vacation. Didn't stay because only had one bed. At the time reservation that all the beds were nice and soft and good. They were not. The only good thing about it was the woman who took care of is behind the desk. I will not be staying there again

The Lodge seems like a very well-run operation. Nice friendly staff, nice clean facility with a beautiful common room with fireplace in the lobby area. The location is very convenient to restaurants and attractions.
The issue is it's a condo hotel, with the rooms individually owned, so there is a wide variation of room quality and features. We stayed in room B313. The room was clean but dated and cheaply appointed. It had the look and feel of a 1970's entry level apartment. Appliances, furniture and fixtures look like they were purchased on the cheap 20 years ago. Missing light

I stayed at the Lodge this past weekend with a few friends and had a great time. After reading the reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor, I was a bit nervous about our rental but we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our unit. We rented a studio loft for 4 adults and it fit us perfectly, unit D213, for 2 nights at $84/person. The loft had a queen bed and 2 bunk beds and the living area had a sofa bed and a futon. The the cushions on the sofa bed kept falling off so it was uncomfortable to sit on. The futon was much better but it was placed under the stairs so it was awkward to sit and socialize

Reading the reviews, I'm very surprised as I had a pleasant experience here. My boyfriend and I ended up walking in to this hotel after regretfully purchasing Groupon tickets for Beacon Resort. They were very accommodating and offered us a 10% discount on a studio room with a kitchen.

The beds were very comfy, the room was clean and the stuffed animals on the couch were a nice touch. The pool and jacuzzi are a great addition as well. Very clean. They even have a mini arcade with a pool table if you're a kid at heart!

I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for an affordable

I love it here, but admittedly, i never, ever, EVER rent directly from the lodge. I always go through "HomeAway" or "VRBO". I get great deals, wonderful owners and a really good experience. The pool has always been beautiful every single time I've gone. The grounds are lovely. I don't know about the game room. I love this place and have gone back many times with friends and with children. No bad reviews here at all as long as you rent directly from owners!

I used to go to The Lodge years ago with my family and have always had great memories here. After telling my partner about the lodge and he was sold and we went ahead and planned a weekend getaway. I booked a reservation on Expedia for a loft room with a kitchen for our anniversary weekend. When I checked in I was told the room was twice as much as advertised online and was put in a small drab, hotel room that smelled like it had mold issues. When I said something to the woman at the front desk she was nice enough to switch us to a studio with a kitchen (still not the room advertised online) but

My girlfriend and I rented a studio condo with a loft for a winter season here and we were very pleased with the place. It was cozy and quiet and in walking distance to the mountain and shops and restaurants. It has a heated pool and hot tub, which is great for the cold winter days and after snowboarding. The only thing that we wish they had was a fitness center.

Nothing fancy but nice for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. Nice clean pool and common areas. I only saw 2 staff members on at a time but they were very accommodating. Biggest downfall is the pool area closes at 9 or 10, way too early for my taste.

AS a retired Sergeant First Class, United States Army, I would really appreciate, and expect a little better service out of a great state such as New Hampshire, however, I have no choice but to agree with the above review and when they gave me and my daughter an un-made room, with run down, cheesy, 1970 wallpaper. no wonder why businesses in the US are not making any money, after trying to get my money back and told that the charges were not yet put through by the front desk, they still charged me $341. After noticing that these charges were not removed from my CC I called them and was told that

Nice condo hotel when rented directly from owner that keeps unit in good shape. Be aware that units are all in very different condition. Most nice units are rented directly by owners to the same renters. The pools, tennis court and grounds are in excellent condition. see pictures.

This place needs updating! The hallways and main area are kind of creepy-dim and somewhat old-fashioned. The stairwells reek of chlorine from the indoor pool. The outside could definitely use a paint job. On the plus side, The Lodge is conveniently located in the main part of town, and the river behind the building is very serene.
