Monroe Bay Marina, built in 2006, is conveniently located in the sheltered waters of Monroe Bay on the Potomac River. Boaters are within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, beaches, hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast accommodations. The Campground has its own Camp Store with supplies, propane gas, and home cooked meals.
A large play ground, game room, and a white sloping beach make for a fun filled day for the young and the young at heart. A boat ramp and docking pier are also on site. There are over 300 sites with water and electric, of these over 100 sites have sewer. Limited 50 amp lots are available. We also have two dump stations for your convenience as well as bathrooms and showers located throughout the Campground.

Curley Packing Company began business in Colonial Beach as an oyster packing plant by L. L. Curley, Sr. in 1932. The oyster packing plant, where he packed his "Pearl of Perfection" brand oysters, is still located on 551 Lafayette Street in Colonial Beach.
In the 1950's he purchased property that he later developed into Monroe Bay Estates, Monroe Bay Campground, and Monroe Bay Mobile Home Park all located on Monroe Bay Circle in Westmoreland County directly across from the Packing House and Monroe Bay Marina.He continued to pack oysters until his passing in 1994, and Curley Packing Company continued to pack oysters until 2002.
