Simply unpleasant people who run the shop. I made a reservation on Sunday, and called to change my wife from scuba to snorkeling which initially they were going to accommodate. But when I wanted to cancel the morning dive for myself (cause I didn't want to leave my wife alone for few hours) The guy (who is supposedly the owner) said that if I am canceling the morning then he will just have to cancel the entire thing! His point was that I booked up a holiday weekend and now am changing it... which A) I booked it only day prior! B) the person booking it initially said there would not be any issues

This review is entirely from the online experience. Which is pretty poor.
1. They boast “Lowest Price Guaranteed,” that they will match prices and that they are 56% cheaper than other places. A quick google search proves that wrong. They are at least $15 more expensive in all areas. I guess I could contact them to have them match it but that leads me to my next point.
2. No easy way to contact them! I’m out of the country and traveling to Key West and so I really rely on email and contact us forms. They have neither on their site. They have a chat option which says “We’re not around

Terrible dive center. Limits divers who are well qualified in their experience and training to 90'. So for the vandenberg you get very limited experience on this beautiful wreck.
I suggest going somewhere else where staff is nicer, more respectful, and more knowledgeable.
Key west dive center should not be rated 5 star. Will not give them my business.
Additional:
No, the staff did not offer any future dives to me. No I did not attack the staff. This is incorrect information. I personally called another dive shop, and they were more than accommodating. The lack of respect experienced with Key

First diving trip in Key West and I was more than pleased. The crew was very attentive and helpful and was there for you if you needed anything. I will definitely return and would recommend this to anyone diving in Key West, FL.

Went to key west with my family; decided to book a dive with Key West Dive Center. We all had a great time! The staff was very helpful in answering our questions and providing us with information, and the dive itself was spectacular! We will definitely be coming back for another dive!

We used the Key West Dive Center to go on a "Dive in a Day" excursion for the family. It was just the 4 of us to one instructor (hi John!) and we couldn't have had a better experience. The Dive in a Day starts off in a pool but then you actually get to go to two coral reefs for scuba diving. Everyone loved it!

We had a great snorkeling trip with the Key West Dive Center last weekend! Snorkeling was easy and fun, I did not think we would see as many fish as we did! Jack from the crew was a huge help in getting us to learn how to use the snorkel tube. We are even considering doing the dive in a day course next time we go to key west

Loved the Dive in a Day Resort Course! I did this with 3 other friends and we had a blast! Started the day off at the Casa Marina pool learning how to use the scuba gear, and then in the afternoon we got on the boat and went scuba diving! We had one awesome instructor/guide (Mark) who dove with us. Incredible experience from start to finish!
