Since 1954 members of the Hankle family have been logging timber in the extensive forests in Northeastern New York. Today, Hankle Lumber, Inc., expertly manufactures these logs into premium wood products. Still family owned and operated, Hankle Lumber, Inc. specializes in producing native lumber, both hardwood and softwood.
We manufacture lumber, on site, from logs which are milled into rough cut framing materials, industrial and construction timber, posts and beams, and top quality boards for furniture manufacturing. We plane, on site, kiln dried stock to produce hardwood flooring, tongue and grooved paneling, wide pine plank flooring, wainscoting, and exterior siding.

Services
Our Hardwood Flooring is milled to 3/4" thickness and has a standard face size of 3", 4", or 5". We can also mill other custom sizes based upon availability. This product comes tongue & grooved, with a bottom reveal to help prevent cupping. Ash is common in the Eastern United States and has a wide-straight grain pattern similar to Oak.
V-GROOVE boards are milled with chamfered edges on both sides, forming a V shape when the tongue-and-groove joints come together. Our V-Groove PANELING IS KILN DRIED AND MILLED TO A 3/4 THICKNESS. When choosing PINE we stock it in WIDTHS OF 4"-6"-8". We have the ability to make 10" & 12" WIDe with a special order.
The finishing touch to a room can make all the difference. Formal, historic, elegant, there are no limits to the possibilities when it comes to moulding. While on the surface it may seem like a subtle accent, custom wood trim sets the tone for style. Whether you've found a new trend or want to just replace something special, we can have your favorite custom molding profile made.
We operate our sawmill multiple times a week, ensuring we keep a fresh stock and full inventory for your convenience. Post and beam or timber framing has been around for about two thousand years and is a classic technique that combines durability and beauty. Most generally we cut these timbers using a hemlock material.
We stock both 4x4 and 6x6 Timbers here on sight for these projects. If you have a particular design in mind that requires a special sized timber, we can custom saw to your specified dimensions. These products are milled from Hemlock logs, which many customers also use for garden beds at their homes and businesses.

Basically received the run-around in my experience with this company,
Upon inquiring about scheduling a delivery a couple times, they said they'd call back; to which they never did.
Finally on the third attempt I was able to have a delivery date set and called the morning of the delivery to confirm that everything was good to go. "Sometime between 4:00 and 4:30" was the word received by the person working the phones. Waited until 6:00, with no luck, not even a courtesy call from them to explain that they wouldn't be able to make it.
