Risha Walden is the Principal Designer at Walden Interiors. Canadian born and now living in New Jersey, Risha has built her design aesthetics from living and traveling abroad in Europe and Asia. Risha received her design training at the New York School of Interior Design. With a background in Performing and Visual Arts, Risha loves to bring balance and beauty into the lives of each of her clients.

I have worked with Risha on several design projects over the past six years. When I moved from my modern home in Harding to a townhome in Summit, Risha helped me plan what furniture I could repurpose for the move and worked with me to purchase furniture to fit the new space. She designed our lighting, hung pictures with me, helped me pick paint colors and even arranged my display pieces in a pleasing, ascetic manner. Risha has been a great resource for trades people for reupholstery and window treatments and I have recommended her to family and friends. She always seems to understand my tastes

She has travelled the world and has incorporated her life experiences and cultural diversity into her design. We have worked closely with Risha from Walden Interiors on various projects in our home that I continue to enjoy each morning I wake and start my day. We have very open discussions about all ideas during the design process and that also includes ones that we don't like!! However, I am always confident that each discussion gets us closer to what ultimately works.
