Services
A boundary survey and drawing (plat) which meets the requirements of ALTA (American Land Title Association) and the ACSM (American Congress on Surveying and Mapping) and incorporates review of the Title Search provided. ALTA surveys are typically required for the purchase or sale of commercial property.
Easement - the privilege of using something that is not your own (as using another's land as a right of way to your own.) Usually an easement has a special purpose and gives the owner of the easement right to "trespass" on the landowners property in order to maintain the easement or utility covered in the easement.

Much like any other type of survey, a topographic survey, or topographic survey for short, is done to locate natural and man-made features on a particular parcel of land. This is sometimes called planimetric features or things you can see from a plan view as if you were hovering over the site.

I am happy with their work. I like that they do not lie to you and get the job complated when they say so. Other companies just keep lying to you with delays and coming up with excuses.
I believe Ben is a great professional, but the front desk has a great opportunity to improve their customer service skills.

We were initially quite nervous because we needed a topographic survey rather quickly in order to meet a deadline. We were so relieved that we chose the right company to work with! Ben and his team were out to the property in just a few business days. The civil engineer working with us made a few specific requests and Ben was very gracious in making sure they were all addressed. Communication and responsiveness were awesome throughout the whole process. Even once the project was completed Ben checked in just to make sure all was still good and gave some very helpful advice. I feel the rate I was given was competitive and the quality of work was good. Most survey companies we called we were turned away from because they were too busy. Even though this company was honest from the start and said they were extremely busy they were able to fit us in just in time and help us meet our deadline. The WORSE customer service. I called to schedule a survey. The lady said they weren't scheduling until next week. So I stated I would like to be placed on the schedule for next week. She says "oh we only make schedules in the same week"... how does this make any sense.

I called them before New Year's and told them that I needed a surveying of a property immediately after the holiday because the adjacent land owner was claiming part of my property. The adjacent property owner was going to begin construction on his land and that I was concerned that he could build on my area. I was told that they would send me a proposal the first of the week. I never heard back from them.

A bit surprised at the response. When inquiring for a quote, the response was "Unfortunately, we are not taking on any new surveys at this time."
...No timeline was given. No urgency was requested. They simply did not even acknowledge the opportunity for business. Interesting and truly an unfortunate response. Not only would I not recommend this business, but I would highlight to anyone interested in their services that they might not actually be in business anymore. Period.

It was Friday morning and I was called in a fixed by another surveying company.. I called Action Surveying and told them my problem. They were set to come out Monday to do the work but I was surprised they actually done it Friday afternoon and I pick up the forms Saturday morning to turn into the city first thing Monday morning. They are both professional and understanding and I highly recommend them to anybody that is looking for a surveyor.
