My name is Aaron and I'm the owner and sole employee of Cardinal Woodcraft. Ever since I was little, I have always enjoyed building and creating things, especially when it involves carpentry and woodworking. I especially love creating and designing projects that are not only pleasing to the eye but extremely practical and useful as well.
I enjoy the challenge of designing built-ins that can make small spaces liveable by using the space efficiently and creatively. I love what I do and very much enjoy working with customers to make their home a better place to live. Throughout my career, I have flipped a number of houses which sometimes involves managing up to 15 different contractors in one project.

Most of the furniture and cabinetry in the average American home are built thousands of miles away, using materials gathered from all over the world, then packaged heavily and shipped across the country or the world to a local store or directly to your home. Just a single kitchen's worth of cabinets produces HUGE amounts of packaging waste, not to mention the impact of shipping and driving those cabinets all over the world.
Entertainment centers, built in bookshelves and cabinets, lockers, cubbies, murphy beds, murphy doors, mudroom benches and storage, display cases, etc. Built in cabinetry and shelving allows you to maximize your space and squeeze all the potential out of your home. Most of us don't need bigger homes, we just need to use the space we have better!

We are thrilled with the three built-ins Aaron made for our home, a dry bar, a large family room cabinet with bookcases and cabinets, and a window seat with storage. From day one Aaron was responsive, honest, on time and extremely professional. His attention to detail is second to none and we would not hesitate to hire Aaron for our next cabinetry project!

Aaron made awesome built-in bookshelves and cabinets for my living room. I had a vision for what I wanted, and his design and execution was even better than I hoped. The brick fireplace in my 100+ year old home posed a challenge to build around, but Aaron did a terrific job--the bookshelves look like they've always been in the home, and the room is so much more functional now. And throughout the entire process, Aaron was extremely communicative and clear about the next steps and his timeline. Highly recommend!

Aaron was phenomenal to work with! He updated our fireplace and custom made cabinets and shelving for each side. It turned out better than I expected! Excellent communication throughout the whole process and I really liked the 3D model of what I had envisioned for the project so I could visualize it. Aaron was easy to work with and really went above and beyond to get the work done. If you need any type of carpentry work I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

We had Cardinal Woodcraft install in-built shelves in our living room and kitchen. We love the results. We were concerned about installing shelves on the brick wall of our 100-year old home, but the shelves seem secure. The color selection and wood options were great, and the work was completed in a timely manner.

Aaron/Cardinal Woodcraft is everything you could ask for in a contractor. We had Aaron build and install a built in wall unit with lighting, drawers and shelving. He was very thorough, responsive and accommodating during the design process and we are blown away by the level of quality in the craftsmanship of the final product. He was clean and courteous while he was at our home during the installation, wore a mask the entire time. He also made sure that we were totally and completely happy with the results, and boy are we!
