Very strange appointment at this place. The appointment lasted less than five minutes. The doctor didn't really ask any questions, just right away wanted to give me the same prescription. He just had me read one line! I felt like he didn't care at all and was not knowledgeable or attentive. It honestly seemed like someone pretending to be eye doctor. Very off-putting experience compared to all the other eye doctors I've been to since getting glasses in 1st grade.

I was a brand new patient who needed a prescription for glasses and contacts. I was rushed into a room where he looked at my eyes through one machine and then moved to another room. He had me look through one lens and read some letters on the wall and I was finished. They handed me a pair of contacts and I was done. I was given a prescription for the first and only Lens he had me look through and never gave me a prescription for glasses or even mentioned them. The receptionist was very friendly though!!

I picked up my glasses and they look amazing! The Dr suggested I get progressive lenses, I wasn't thrilled about it, but he was right! Great staff! The person ( I forgot her name, sorry) who helped me pick out glasses, was so honest and helpful and didn't rush me at all, she explained all the options available and what would suit my needs best...amazing folks!

My family and I have been going to Dr Hurst’s since we moved here (2010). Him and his staff has always showed us kindness and respect any questions pertaining to my insurance or in general they’ve answered even if they weren’t sure. I recommended his practice to others and they all are happy with his service.

I would give them zero stars if I could. My bf went here desperately needing glasses bc he lost his. Not only were they extremely expensive but it took more than 20 days to get them when they told him 7-10 business days. There was no phone call or an explanation to why it took so long and I called numerous times and all they kept telling me was they were waiting on a lens. Then when they finally came in he went and paid and they forgot to charge for the sunglasses so we had to take another trip back to Roger's (hour drive for us) to pay the rest of the bill. When no compensation was offered I asked

I went to Hurst Eye Care today for an annual exam, year 2. It was scheduled as they sent reminders. Please note: although their self service appears to work for appointments, it does not. The staff members are professional but not particularly friendly. The cost is expensive; next year I am going to try a warehouse club, as I have done prior to living in NWA. With higher prices, I would expect a more personal experience.

Fast but not rushed. We were in and out before the baby got upset, even after picking out glasses. They answered all of our questions. It's the only doctor's office that gave me my PD along with my prescription. PD is a bigger deal than you think when you are out of town and the quick places get it wrong!

I've been getting my eye exams and glasses here for years. The whole staff is wonderful and my glasses came in faster than expected. I have always had my questions answered and received information about options without pressure to purchase. Dr Hurst takes the time to find out what I need in my prescription and makes suggestions accordingly. It's a great place.

We are super happy with our experience at Hurst Eye Care! My boys are on Medicaid and navigating it can be a real pain but Hurst Eye Care made it easy. Hurst was professional, thoughtful, and responsive! I love the small business feel of their clinic. I've been into optometry offices where a simple screening takes 2 hours because of processes that only benefit the company - that's not the case at Hurst. Everyone is super friendly. Visits are efficient. I can't say enough about them!
