We are Turgeon's Hardwood Flooring, a local company with over 24 years of flooring experience. We travel all over Vermont and upstate New York to job sites for commercial and residential customers. We start with an on-site estimate of the project and a discussion of your vision for the finished look.
Whether you are refinishing an existing floor or want to install a new one with custom milled raw wood selected just for your project, we will be with you every step of the way. You will work with the same team of experts from the estimate to the finished product to guarantee you get the floor you want.
There are many different variables that can affect the process and speed of floor sanding. Finishes, wood density, knots, desired color, pet stains, shadows, water damage all have to be considered before a project starts. All these will be gone over at the time of consultation depending on what's happening on your floor.
A daunting and confusing decision. It's not uncommon for us to get questions over the phone on what can or can't be done. That's why our process generally starts with an in home consultation and discussion on your desired end result. We will look your floor and inspect it for cupping, moisture concerns, shadowing, water damage, pet stains, and advise on what we can do to get you what you need.
