Tom Malpede, a former Fremont police officer, grew up surrounded by the construction business. His father was and architect and a general contractor, who's personality, passion, and drive made him well known for his buildings, homes, and design awards.
Tom not only grew up around the business, but he was born with the same personality, passion, and instinctive knowledge for construction as his father - which drove him to established Malpede Construction in 1995. Since the beginning, Malpede Construction has stood for quality, integrity, and pride.

Since 1998, Malpede Construction has provided the greater Bay Area with high quality commercial and residential construction services. We have our own in house cabinet company which allows us to control the quality from design to installation. Our continued growth each and every year has been achieved exclusively through customer referrals and repeat business.

Our portfolio shows the diversity of projects - from restaurant build outs, to Bakeries, to community pools, Dr. Offices, even to building stages and wall structures for a visit from President Obama. We started our business focused on the residential market and it continues to be one of the driving factors to our success. Since 1995 we have completed too many projects to list on the site but below we have tried to list a variety of different jobs for you to view to get a taste for our work. We have completed quite a few kitchen (not only for restaurants) but for residential homes.
