Dangerous drivers. One of their guys nearly ran two cars off the road simply by changing lanes before signaling.

Positive: Professionalism
I am a former employee of HLF and I have to say this is one of the best trucking companies I have ever worked for. I was sad to leave the company but definitely enjoyed my experience while I was there. Great team in the office and on the road!

On March 5th, 2020 at 06:45 the reckless and irresponsible operation of one of your drivers on I-495 (the Washington DC beltway) in Maryland nearly caused a major accident. While I understand driving a tractor-trailer on the Washington beltway must be a challenge, your driver forced me into another lane (into traffic) and then proceeded drive at a high rate of speed, changing lanes as if they were driving a sports car – please don’t take my word for it I’m assuming you have GPS records and you can track your driver's speed - however I doubt It will fully show the unsafe manner in which the

Terrible truck driver. Over 70 mph through a 50 mph zone, passing in a no trucks lane, tailgating, then slamming the breaks on when passing highway patrol. Blue Kenworth on I80 west, east of I480.

Started here in Sept of 2018 after working for a real trash organization in Camp Hill. Nick, the owner, and I hit it off right away and both of us want the same things, to grow Honey Locust the correct way, buy servicing customers and taking care of our drivers and carriers. The office environment is unlike any I’ve ever worked in, HLF really looks after the employees. This is where I plan on finishing my career.
So much better than that dump in Camp Hill.

I started here in January of 2019. The owner, Nick, and myself met a few times and the final time was with who I work most closely with, Joe, to make sure we would all be on the same page. We all agreed that the best way to grow the company was to be different than the rest and grow it by doing what is right by the customer, driver and carrier. I can honestly say that the office staff is A++++, and it has the best atmosphere I have ever worked in. There is not a day that I have ever dreaded going to the office. If you are willing to put in the hard work and have the attitude that " I will do what

Terrible driver, almost ran over the front of my wifes car. She was sitting at intersection of canal road and Susquehanna trail in York Pa. Driver was flying around the corner to try to beat a red light. Our light was green, my wife was scared as hell, all we could see were tires coming at our hood. We had to back up after, laying on horn. He finally did stop, inches from our hood. 7:37 pm friday evening.

Constantly planning live load deliveries / pickups while driver has very little to no time left on your 14. 0500 walmart delivery this morning and an 1830 pickup this afternoon. The two locations being roughly an hour travel time apart. Then when you bring up the flaw in planning, dispatch tries to turn it around on the driver saying you don't know how to manage your time. I've been driving 15 years now and have been with the big companies as well as the small. I know stuff like this happens, but every week??? Poor skills in the office at this company.
