Below shows a clean and simple way to connect the coil and condenser to the points. Check the routing to make sure the flywheel doesn't grab the wire when spinning the engine over. Help me, my engine won't start! That is a VERY common question we get on the phone. If your working on a Maytag the first thing we ALWAYS check is your coil, more on that in another post.

Craig, Iowa, comes alive for Zack's "Power of the Past" festival! Maytag engines, steam engines, museum tours, parades, machine shop tours, concerts, swap meet etc.! You name it, Craig has it! Iowa's best kept small town secret! Thanks to the residents of Craig for letting us meander your streets and sidewalks...you should be proud! A must see if you're into old engines and very family friendly!

I took a mag and ignitor to the portland show for these guys to repair. I know very little about magnetos so i expect a big bill. David called me and told me that it had plenty of spark only thing he found was one wrong spring. He said he could put a charge on the magnets and shipp it that afternoon . This is what he did at a very low price I appreciate his honesty and his personal commitment to me and flywheel supply, thanks David!
