The wood nickel at Pleasant View started in 2011 when the owner Dustin Whiteaker brought his daughter Amber (3 and a half years old at the time) to look at a dumpster truck. When they walked into Beam Truck and Body in Woonsocket, RI, they were greeted by a great man named Rod. Rod talked to Amber for a bit and gave her a wood nickel and told her to keep it forever and that's exactly what she's done.

I needed a dumpster to clean out my apartment so I called and the woman I talked to was so helpful and patient with me and my situation. She explained the cost for everything and even broke it down so I could split the cost with a second person. They even came out to Townsend!

We recently moved and had a moderate amount of household "stuff" to dispose of. Not enough for a small dumpster but too much for a trash tote. I called Pleasant View and they responded quickly with a very reasonable quote. They picked up the stuff within two business days as promised. We were concerned that a large truck could damage our long-and-narrow driveway but they made arrangements to make sure that wouldn't happen. We were very happy with their service and will be sure to call them again in the future.

We have been using Pleasantview's services since it's inception. We can't say enough about the convenience and reliability of this company's service. You can count on pick up every Monday, and no running around looking for trash stickers! The cost is less than the town's stickers for the same service. Currently Monday by 7am is the rule, and most of the Monday holidays you'll still have pick up. The quarterly online billing is terrific as well. Refer another person, and get a $10 credit if they use Pleasant View. You are also able to call for pick up of larger items, or to notify them you'll be
