Cyndi Williams - After a heavy snowfall and falling temperatures, my elderly MILs heater went out. We called Source Gas at noon who insisted on charging $250 to come out the same day, but would only charge $85 if she waited until the next day. We called Ben Franklin Plumbing and they came out the same day without inflated costs for the same day visit.
If your home isn't connected to a sewer system, you still need a way to safely remove waste water. About a quarter of homes in America use a septic system, according to the EPA, and many homeowners find that it is a satisfactory solution. However, you need to make sure that you properly care for and maintain your septic tank to protect the integrity of both your plumbing and the environment, not to mention your own health and safety.

Terrible. Had tub faucet repaired September 2012 at a cost of $350 and was now leaking September 2013. Was charged $124 to attempt at fixing same faucet. Did not work. Now say I need to replace everything and it will cost almost $600. Told them I feel like a patient and need a second opinion. Also, during the same September 2013 visit, a second leak was fixed and was charged the same amount of $124 for the second (standard charge). I told the locals that this did not make sense as the vehicle charges would have been included in the first leak, so the second should be different and I was not happy
