John Mason has been employed in the HVAC industry for over 25 years in a variety positions from technical to management. He has held a universal EPA technician certification since 1993. Before devoting his work full time to JBN Mechanical, John was employed at Penn State, Office of Physical Plant as the Manager of Project Planning and Estimating, while at the same time working toward a degree in Organizational Leadership.
John also represented over 20,000 Penn State staff employees as the President of the University Staff Advisory Council. Prior to this John was a Project Manager and Mechanical Estimator for a large commercial contractor, and he started his career and a HVACR technician. Since 2013 we have been providing high efficiency, ENERGY SAVING residential heating and air conditioning solutions in State College and the surrounding area.

Most amazing business ever. I have received help from John twice where he was able to solve our issue over the phone before scheduling a service visit, and he didn't charge us a thing. Just mentioned that he likes being able to help folks solve problems before needing extensive assistance. Where does this ever happen? They are very busy but I know will be great for anyone who lines them up for service.

I would like to give John Mason of JBN Mechanical heating and Air Conditioning 10 stars if I could. The AC units he installed in my house exceeded my expectations as to placement, softness of operation, variety of operating options and attractiveness. He is friendly and helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently.
But most outstanding is his service. All my texts to him were answered in a few minutes. When the AV light unit attached to the furnace which cleans mildew and mold out of the system didn’t work out for me he came over an hour after I called him and removed it. He

We very recently had John, who is the owner, come back and install additional ductless air and heat units at our home. We never considered anyone else because of how happy we were the with the first units , and his great service and fair price. We were equally pleased with all of the above and more this time!
