Farmer & Frenchmen
Farmer and Frenchman is a Kentucky small-farm vineyard, winery, cafe, and event venue - a distinctive agricultural destination located in Henderson County. Guests to F&F can expect a unique blend of wine tasting, local food and entertainment experiences rooted in the past but with a fresh and stylish twist.

F&F cafe/winery hours are 12pm to 9pm, Tuesday thru Saturday. In order to maximize social distancing requirements, reservations are required at this time. Our menu showcases our blended heritage using European-style recipes based on Kentucky ingredients-like artisan pizzas and pastas made with local tri-state products.
Services
Our signature vineyard-to-table cuisine is based on the natural link to our vineyard. Looking as a model to the historic European wineries and wine growing regions, there is an intrinsic link and original "locavore" focus where virtually all food is produced and consumed locally. Our food is designed to complement our wines and provide the natural linkage between food and wine.
Choose items and build your own bar based on your budget and types of beverages you want to serve. Your guests enjoy a full selection of soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits on their own tab for 5 hours. Gratuity of 20% (gratuity minimum must reach $100) will be added to the final invoice (does not apply to cash bar).
Perfect for all seasons, the solar-powered cabins at Farmer & Frenchman combine outdoor adventure with comfort and amenities. We have three identical cabins for rent, the Riene, the Roi, and the Dauphin. With a 360-degree view of farmland and woods, a cafe and winery on the property, and miles of walking trails, you will never have a reason to leave.
The event venue at Farmer and Frenchman is designed to capture the essential elements of successful entertaining, including architectural scale, custom lighting, and stunning countryside views. The tobacco barn can comfortably seat up to 170; for larger events, the Promenade and Vineyard Lawn can be utilized.
Farmer & Frenchman Cafe/Winery is the perfect venue for your next client meeting or corporate outing. From our 170-capacity event barn to our intimate cafe and beautiful selection of modern overnight cabins, guests will experience our European-inspired and Kentucky-influenced vineyard-to-table cuisine featuring unique wines and delicious food.

Such a unique place, this gem of a restaurant is a must in the area. It’s a must even if you’re not from the area! People should be flying here to visit F&F! The menu has amazing options and everything is so tasty you can’t help but want to go back! Hubert & Katy take time to go to all the tables and they’re happy to recommend great wines to go with their delicious dishes. Service is also unmatched and the place is perfect for a romantic dinner but also for a nice family outing even if you have kids. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic service, great food, excellent wine and drinks list, their F&F wines are amazing (we had a few different bottles), owners come out and chat with you and stay in the trenches with their employees… assisting customers. The mark of a great leader/owner is getting into the thick of it with employees instead of abandoning them and taking the easy road. The food menu is creative, ever-evolving, and displays the talents of Hubert and the chef. We will be going back soon.

The service and food were amazing. We will definitely be making this a regular stop. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff extremely professional but welcoming. This was the best restaurant we have ever been to that has accommodated, and assisted with making sure we had no issues coming or going with a wheelchair.

Stopped by for lunch and a wine tasting with a friend and this place was so good! The wine was delicious, and I appreciated the notes on each wine we sampled. I had the caprese panini and a side salad and both were delicious. My friend has the chicken afresh pasta and she raved about it. I bought plenty of bottles to take home because the wine was so good. If you are in the area, go check this place out!

A wonderful restaurant, winery, and event venue in Robards, Kentucky where you'll find European-style recipes based on Kentucky ingredients. The chef is from Paris, France and his wife from Henderson County. There are even cabins available for rent. Recently voted as one of the best restaurant and winery's in Kentucky for 2021 you're sure to be pleased whether you visit for dinner or a stay in one of their cabins.

Let me start by saying I have no issue with the food. It wasn't outstanding but fine for the area. The cocktails were exceptionally small, in comparison to other restaurants. My issue was with the management.
My daughters bought me a gift certificate for my birthday a few years ago. Due to a long period of endless radiation and chemotherapy from cancer, and then a year-long lockdown from COVID I wasn't able to redeem my gift cert until recently.
When I presented my gift certificate, the owner wouldn't honor it saying "my system doesn't track something this old"

We were so impressed with everything! The food, the cabin, the views and the wines all made our little mini-vacation to celebrate my husband’s birthday a real pleasure. Had there been an available cabin for a second night, we would have extended our stay.
I would recommend F&F to anyone. It has everything in one place in the most beautiful setting. We will be having more mini-vacations here! Thank you Katy, Hubert and wonderful staff for a very lovely adventure close to home!

Beautiful picturesque setting. We ordered the duck and heritage pork from the french quarter portion of their menu and concluded our meal with chocolate mousse and blueberry bread pudding. The wine was incredible. We enjoyed the red blend reserve before our meal, then paired the Sauvignon Blanc with the duck and pork. The drive is about 3 hours from Cincinnati so we stayed in Cabin 1. Highly recommend this little gem of a getaway!

Went here for dinner last night and it was a great experience! We ordered entrées from the French Quarter portion of the menu and both dishes were really good! Super flavorful and very generous portion sizes. The service and overall atmosphere were also great.

I also really appreciated how they had tables spaced out for social distancing/COVID restrictions.

Definitely will be back in the future!

Returned again for lunch with a different friend. Our male waiter may as well been working at Denny's or iHop.

My friend and I decided the food was simply okay - not worth the long drive from Evansville.

I've since talked with a few other friends about several area restaurants which have received high acclaim. All of us are well traveled, have been fortunate enough to dine in restaurants which really have earned 4 or 5 stars. We all agreed it's because it is Evansville. A population of folks who routinely vacation in FL, Gatlinburg, etc. and put emphasis on quantity

This winery is gorgeous. The ambiance is beautiful and something you'd imagine of a winery. I have given this place two opportunities and been at different times to see what it's all about.

During my visit today there was a wedding happening outside which made parking a bit hard. The wedding was beautiful. You could sit inside the winery and watch the outside happenings.

I am not a fan of their wine. We were immediately seated at a table and not asked if we'd like a tasting. When asked if we could do a tasting our waitress got upset with us. During our tasting, the employee
