Gypsum Express Ltd is a success story based on principles of hard work, honesty, and customer service. John Wight grew up in Oswego, NY, the son of a chicken farmer. His father owned Wight's White Eggs and taught John early to "Give value to your customers and they will come back for more." The principles of hard work, honesty, and customer service are the foundation for John's amazing success.

Our fleet of trucks is composed primarily of Freightliner Cascadias. Our signature red trucks are designed to be lightweight for maximum payload and allow Gypsum to provide cost efficient services to our customers. The comfort of our drivers is of top priority to us, making the Cascadia the perfect fit for all drivers.
Lightning Loading Service is a division of Gypsum Express LTD. Lightning currently operates ten load services in the East and Midwest, including locations in Aliquippa, PA, Waukegan, IL, Shoals, IN, Cayuga, IN, Rensselaer, IN, Carrollton, KY, Moundsville, WV, Baldwinsville, NY, and Wheatfield, IN. These loading services operate over 30 late model yard tractors, a mix of Ottawa and Autocar units.
Gypsum Logistics, LLC has a dedicated staff to assist our customers in finding the most effective way to move their freight. We are backed by a fleet of over 650 tractors and company employed drivers, as well as hundreds of contracted outside carriers. Because we know that problems do not just occur from 8am - 5pm, we also have 24 hour, 7 days a week dispatch- we are always within reach!
