Your online donation helps us continue to provide repair services and bicycles for those in need. Earn a free bicycle at The Pedal Factory. Completing a checklist involving a bit of learning and a bit of volunteer work in the shop can earn anyone in the community an overhauled, functional bicycle to use for recreation or transportation.
The shop is open every week on Tuesdays 12-6, Wednesday 12PM-6PM and each Thursday 12-6 pm. This is a time where anyone can come in and make repairs to their personal bikes using our shop, tools and used parts selections. Drop off repairs, sales and bike fittings are also available during open shop hours, and appointments are encouraged.

Services
The Pedal Factory began in Salisbury, NC, in 2015, with a vision of including all individuals as potential cyclists. We believe everyone should have access to a bicycle, regardless of age, income, or background.
Knowing this area is a great place to ride a bike - for transportation and daily commutes, recreation and fun, or just improved health and fitness - we also recognize the benefits to the community as a whole when more of its citizens are on two wheels. The Pedal Factory has grown quickly since establishment.

At The Pedal Factory, learning is central to our mission. We believe learning is best accomplished by doing. Sharing knowledge and skills is the best way to empower individuals and move our community forward. Check out the many opportunities for individual and collaborative learning offered through The Pedal Factory.
EARN A BIKE: The Earn a Bike program is the heart of our organization. We began by offering any individual the opportunity to receive a bike at no cost in exchange for volunteer service. While there have been some modifications along the way, Earn a Bike is still the main way we make bikes accessible.
One thing we've definitely got going on at the shop is teamwork. It really does make the dream work! We've developed a team building program that will expose your group to new skills, create camaraderie through shared goals (and probably lots of laughter), contribute to a better understanding of coworkers and even benefit the community as a whole.
We love to ride bikes. We want you to love riding, too! Whether your goal is to commute to school or work, get fit or just have fun with the family, we are here to help! The Pedal Factory is building a community of bicyclists in Salisbury and beyond. Check out some opportunities for pedaling with us.
