The program has given me a new way to look at healthy eating. So far I have gotten past my weight loss plateau and lost 10 pounds, reduced my fasting blood sugar so that it is in the normal range or close to it, reduced my waist circumference out of the unhealthy range, and have been able to fit into clothes I have not worn in years.

In fact, just a few years ago you could've found me wearing my royal blue polo shirt eating Almond Joys with Darrell the janitor as I stayed after hours every night to finish my physical therapy documentation. I quickly realized that my passion is helping people PREVENT the diabetes, heart disease, cancer, dementia, and arthritis I was treating in geriatric physical therapy.
