Our mission at the Double Nickel Campground is to create an atmosphere that makes customers want to return to us again and again. We strive for an environment that is safe, beautiful, relaxing, clean, and fun for both travelers spending the night or families spending the weekend. When we purchased our park in 2014 there were 103 back-in sites.
We decided to redesign the park to have 47 pull-thru sites to ensure a more convenient experience for our customers. Our shortest site is 60 ft. Jeff and Amanda Stoy purchased the Double Nickel in February of 2014. Prior to purchasing, Jeff was an operations manager for Turner Broadcasting, and Amanda was an elementary school teacher.

Services
These popular pull-thru sites are 87-120 feet in length and 40-60 feet in width to accommodate larger rigs. Each site has a picnic table, porch swing, and fire pit. This park model cabin features a small fridge, microwave, sink, bathroom with shower and heat/air conditioning. Please bring your own bedding and towels.
Depending on availability, late check-out (up to 4pm) or early check in may be available for a fee except on Saturdays, some Sundays, and holiday weekends. VISITOR POLICY: Please let us know if you are receiving visitors. Visitors are allowed in the park from 8am to 10pm. All visitors must stop in and get a parking pass.
We have made multiple upgrades to our wireless and all rigs should have good signal strength in the park. Additionally, we utilize three service providers for redundancy and actively manage our bandwidth to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy our WiFi. Our WiFi is optimized for web browsing, email, and video streaming.
Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day) have three night minimum stay requirements. Busy summer weekends require a two night minimum. We give discounts for Military, Seniors, Nebraska Residents, Returning Customers, and Escapees. First night deposits for RV and tent sites are refundable less $12 processing charge if cancelled 48 hours in advance.

Stayed only one night as we were passing through. Only place in the area that would take us after office closing hours. A guy was waiting for us to take us back to our site as we arrived after dark. I was so pleasantly surprised the next morning. The campground is beautiful and wished we could of stayed longer. I will defiantly keep this on my list as a go to. The sites are spacious, with grass and a swing.

This is by far the BEST campground that we’ve ever stayed at. so clean. and the added touches make the difference. the swing at each campsite! the information sheet had all the necessary details about the camp. the best part was by calling ahead they had all the paperwork done and we just drove to our spot. did not need to stand in line to check in. this was our 2nd time staying there. loved it!

Huge spot for each trailer which is always nice. Also each spot has a giant fire pit and wooden swing. My kids loved the playground and pool. Campstore was a little musty smelling but had a lot of cool pinball machines, kids train table and other toys. You can tell new owners take pride and are slowly redoing it.

Excellent, affordable campground. Pool looks well kept and the playground was nice (basketball court, tether ball, climbing structures). A wooden swing, fire ring, and picnic table at every site I saw. Came in after office hours with no reservation and the owners were very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
