John W. Wickes is a professionally trained Tree and Landscape Consultant. He has been continuously engaged in his field of expertise since 1983. Originally, he was trained as an Orchard Worker and then Orchard Manager at Viola Orchards in Monsey, NY.
He continued his education by becoming a Tree Climber and General Tree Work foreman in his family's business, Rockland Tree Expert Co., Inc. doing business as Ira Wickes/arborists, now as Wickes arborists.Then he moved into a position as a Plant Health Care Technician, maintaining client's landscapes.

We own an apartment complex in Rockland County. Since the properties have many bushes, trees, fruit trees/vines/bushes, we initially reached out to Ryan Kasak at Wickes to make an appointment. He came to our properties and performed an in-depth inspection and shortly thereafter generated a proposal for long term maintenance of the landscape. The proposal was well thought out and reasonably priced compared to other vendors. The first service we requested was for the removal of a dead tree. The tree removal experts arrived timely, were friendly and professional. We plan to keep Wickes as a permanent

Wickes did some great work at my father's Pearl River home. They removed some dead trees, ground up some stumps ( really clean work!), and carefully and aesthetically pruned branches that were too near some phone/ cable wires. They arrived on schedule, worked hard for a number of hours and left the place looking great. The price was fair and the estimate was spot on. Thank Jeff and the crew at Wickes Arborists!
