We went to the Black Water bakery on a Sunday. The restaurant was well staffed, and the service was good, especially for being so busy. The food was great, and came out nice and hot. My husband had a scrapple omelet and was in heaven. I had Avocado toast and it was delicious, and I loved it's presentation.
Plus I love the atmosphere, in a restored downtown building.

Everything was delicious, the service was great, the restroom was great, love the decor. Purchased some bakery items for later and can't wait. Kid friendly environment.
Lunch and Breakfast is all day.
They do take reservations for seating. We didn't know this but they were able to fit us in, I believe several people were leaving when we got there so it worked out.

I loved visiting this cute local bakery on my visit to Cambridge. I came twice during my stay here, one to do a curbside pickup and the other to go inside for a pickup order. The first visit I got the breakfast quinoa bowl, a piece of pumpkin bread, and a honey lavender chai--all on the Toast app which was really easy to order. It even gave me a $5 birthday reward plus a $7 reward with the two orders I placed, which really helped! So I recommend signing up for their Toast account.

Went for an early breakfast before hitting the road after spending the weekend in Cambridge for the Sea Gull Century. Service was friendly, upbeat, and fast. I was able to score a table outdoors and still receive full service. I went with the green giant omelet and was not disappointed...cheesy, fluffy, crispy bacon... would have loved even more asparagus. Their sides included a SINGLE PANCAKE and I appreciate this option on menus so very much. I washed it down with an oat milk dirty chai latte. Will definitely return.

When I arrived they let me know they wouldn't be able to seat me because I was one person. This didn't seem right, but I didn't argue. So, I asked if I could order something to go they said only pastries because kitchen was closing. It was 2:10pm and they close at 3:00pm. None of this made any sense to me.

After enjoying a great vacation in Ocean City, we were driving home along the 50W. It was 10:30 am and we wanted to have a relaxed brunch.
My wife found this place on Google and decided to give it a try.
Super nice staff, good food, nice relaxed small town bakery and a coffee shop ambience! We ordered French toast and breakfast trio with house fries and biscuit as sides, and pancakes for kids. Food was great. I thought biscuit was a bit dry for sides but well, it's generally eaten with gravy, so should taste great with some gravy. Even the butter they gave was so delicious.

I really love to support local businesses, but I don't think I would ever return here. The atmosphere is cute, the coffee was good, the food is just okay, and the service (from whom I presume to be the owner) is terrible. The attitude of the snooty woman at the register and her subtle passive-aggressiveness is enough to drive away our business.

I enjoyed my Mother's Day brunch at this bakery.
We got dirty chai, campfire hot chocolate and lemonade on the top of our meals which consisted of breakfast burrito, garden omelette, and kids breakfast.
Everything were really delicious!

And today wasn't the first time I've been here. The last time I got their frozen hot chocolate and breakfast sandwich. They have not disappoint!

Had one of the most amazing breakfast I've ever had here. Discovered this place on Yelp and having checked out their website, I made a reservation for the next morning. Thank goodness I did. This place gets busy and they have limited indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is super cute and inviting. So many delicious pastries and desserts to stare at. While service was a little slow, the food definitely makes up for it. We started off with brunch favorites, build your own mimosa and my partner had spiked coffee. Stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp while staying nearby at the Hyatt. Phenomenal. Worth the trip off-property to explore the interesting downtown and to pop in for breakfast. Great service during covid with a reservation system. Came here both on Sat and Sun AM -- once for takeaway and once to sit down. Totally recommend it.

When I walked in the smell of muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and baked goodness wafted up my nose and into my heart! To say I was overwhelmed with the smells would be an understatement - it was such a treat to walk into this spot!!!
I am not a coffee drinker so their signs explaining the differences was super helpful and I ended up ordering a specialty drink sans coffee and it was divine!
Next time I am in Cambridge, I will be stopping by for that carrot cake that looked delicious!!!
