Started in 1978 by founder Bud Mudd, Bud Mudd's Pool & Patio has been a successful family owned and operated business for over 30 years. Back in 1984, Bud Mudd's Pool and Patio moved to it's current location on Howell Branch Road in Maitland, Florida. Bud Mudd's Pool & Patio began as a retail store selling equipment, pool supplies, toys, patio furniture and more, and has grown into a full service retail store and an outside pool service company.
Bud's daughter, Geeya, with her husband, Dale, bought the business from her father in 1994. Sticking with the integrity first approach, Geeya and Dale have used their hard work and dedication to take Bud Mudd's Pool & Patio to a whole new level. Over the years the patio furniture has been dropped, but the list of services offered have increased.

Services
We provide both RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL pool services in Orlando and the Central Florida area. Family owned and operated, Bud Mudd's Pool & Patio has been providing pool service in the greater Orlando area since 1979. We offer weekly pool maintenance service for both residential & commercial swimming pools.
Check controls and timers, and if needed, turn on pump/s and observe correct equipment operation. Observe and adjust proper automatic pool cleaner operation, emptying bags and/or debris cannisters. Pool service is billed monthly with a convenient return envelope included with our mailed out billing.
Many factors determine pool filter pump running time. Factors such as: the time of year, the size of pool (total gallons), bather load, the environment, and water temperature, all influence running time. As a general rule, more in the summer and less in the winter. For example, 10-12 hours in the summer & 4-6 hours in the winter, and 8 hours in the spring & fall.

We have used their weekly pool service for about a year and a half and very happy with their work. They had to replace the filter system and a few miscellaneous parts and charged us very fair pricing. The customer service is also great and they are courteous knowing we have 2 large dogs and ensuring the gate is closed properly.
