He was raised by a loving mother and father who has provided the truest example commitment by remaining together for more than 40 years. As the son of a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, Billy Ray learned the importance of integrity, honesty, and discipline.
His mother, a loving wife and devoted mother, would often remind him of the importance of having a dream, setting goals, and achieving them. His first job was washing dishes for a catering company off Bourbon Street in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduating high school he completed culinary school specializing in French, Creole, and Cajun Cuisine.
