I do not recommend this person. He is not a caring person. While he redid my tax return it is yet to be seen it will be accepted. The main thing is the IRS told me what this person did, charging me $1,000's and $1,000's, I could have done myself - in other words he didn't help with the IRS or Hawai'i Department of Taxation. This person is not to be trusted.

After I tried to resolve a tax issue for a condo I sold with the IRS myself with no help from anyone, I found out that I don't have enough knowledge to deal with the situation. Ironically the letter from the IRS after my first response was screaming at me "Get professional HELP".

Having worked with Allen for several years I have always found him to be very up to date on the vagaries of the state and federal tax codes. He is always willing to take the time to explain the intricacies of these documents and remembers chapter and verse as well as when one aspect overrides another. He excels at personal negotiation with tax agents when this is necessary and many of his customers return year after year. However, it must be kept in mind that Allen is a self employed professional and, while he does perform pro bono work for those that need help desperately, he does expect and deserve

I have been thinking about our hairball mess lately and am happy to report that Allen reeeaaally helped us wrap it up. We owed 100k, he got it knocked down to 10. I guess I've been thinking about it because the Loan we took out to pay it off is just about done.
