Ballet Brazos is a non-profit organization whose mission is to instruct, educate, and enrich young people and their audiences through the art of dance, and provide quality classical ballet performances for the community. These performances provide an opportunity to showcase local talent, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and inspire the next generation of dancers.

The Artistic Staff meets and works together to fulfill their artistic vision for the company which ensures that Ballet Brazos productions feature beautiful costumes, sets, and scenery, and brings in the talents of guest professional ballet dancers.

Ballet Brazos is thrilled to share the spirit of the season with showings of our 2019 production of The Nutcracker Ballet on Texas A&M University's public broadcasting station KAMU-TV.
KAMU is graciously including Ballet Brazos in their holiday special Home for the Holidays featuring at 11:00am the university's three choral groups, The Singing Cadets, The Century Singers, and The Women's Chorus, followed by a broadcast of our Nutcracker Ballet at 12:30pm.Ballet Brazos is offering an extended version of our special Nutcracker Extravaganza video.

Amanda has been a part of Ballet Brazos for many seasons and has performed many roles in our Nutcracker including: Snowflake, Flower, Rosebud, Guardian Angel, Party Teen, Arabian Attendant, Spanish Corps and Party Girl. Today Ballet Brazos would like to honor senior McKinly Bunn. McKinly was new to Ballet Brazos this past year but made an impact as Lead Arabian, Snowflake, Flower, and as the understudy for all three Dolls.
