I am a tax attorney primarily practicing in and around Lexington, Kentucky, but am also licensed in Florida and regularly practice out of Naples, Florida. I have been a Lexington resident for about 20 years. I attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1991 with a B.A. in business administration.
I received my J.D. from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1997 and my LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law in 1998. I have been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association (since 1999) and The Florida Bar (since 1997), as a member of the tax, real property and trust sections.

Services
Both in Kentucky or Florida, I make it my mission to help clients with their planning needs, whether estate, business or tax planning. I enjoy my work, and helping individuals, couples and business owners formalize their planning needs. I have had the benefit of working with and for some fantastic estate, business and tax attorneys over the course of my career, and learned how best to steer my clients from pitfalls.
What is estate planning? Estate planning is the process of planning during your lifetime for the passage of your assets at death after payment of taxes and legal debts. What is probate? Probate is the court procedure whereby your executor pays your final taxes and legal debts and passes your remaining assets to your beneficiaries pursuant to the terms of your estate planning documents.
