Not providing the builders with specifications -This is an absolute must! Whether1. Whether provided by the architect or done by yourself this ensures that you receive an Apples to Apples versus and Apples to Oranges bid. Builders are not mind readers and the tendency is to simply specifications in order to keep cost down when no list is provided.

We would like to start off by saying that Pete Tummillo is truly committed to building high quality custom homes and is a true professional with the highest of standards. Our family moved into our house in 1996. Since then Pete has always had an open line of communication with us over the years. Be it on the phone or Pete would just set up a time that is convenient for us and he would be there to explain things personally. We recently updated the outside of our house and once again Pete was there the whole way from start to finish. Our house looks better than ever! We would recommend Pete Tummillo

Pete did a major expansion of our home, building two bedrooms and a bath over the garage, and also adding a third garage space. And also a "bump out" of our kitchen/dining space. All this for accommodating having 4 children in five years!!!
Pete was always on-site, ready to deal with immediate problems. I found him to be honest and responsive. He was quick to solve problems. Some days were not easy, especially when our kitchen was down. But Pete was always there to get the problem solved, and get the project done, with quality work. I highly recommend him.

I rely on Pete to do all my home renovations. He did my basement and he was there all the way through making sure the contractors were there and doing their jobs correctly. He was always open with the cost and we communicated every week about the project. I recommend Pete for any construction project you would need. He will get the job done and at the end it will be beautiful.
