At SWMW Law, our attorneys and staff are hard working and passionate people, who give every client the personal attention they deserve. You will always have at least one of our firm's partners on your team, working directly on your case. Often, all the partners are involved. We'll listen to your story, understand your situation, and develop an appropriate course of action.
After working at larger firms for many years, our founding partners opened SWMW Law in 2012 with a mission to take a more personal approach to asbestos and consumer litigation. We're passionate advocates for the people we help, because we're driven to hold companies accountable for the pain and suffering they've caused.
Ben has been successfully litigating cases on behalf of individuals, small businesses and multi-national companies for over a decade. He decides what cases to take and directs the approach for each. He is very involved in virtually every case, preparing our clients, directing the discovery for defendants, arguing motions and negotiating the best settlements.
Steve is one of the founding members of SWMW Law and manages firm operations and financials. Steve also serves on the intake committee and oversees our probate department in connection with wrongful death cases and related fiduciary distribution issues. Steve also helps manage new case development for the firm.
Matt is one of the trial team leaders at SWMW Law. He works mainly on the pre-trial aspects of cases, with a focus on client depositions. He has conducted and defended hundreds of client and co-worker depositions for asbestos cases, which have delivered over $120,000,000 in settlements for our clients.

My family and I have been equally impressed by the work of the firm. We have been equally impressed with each person within the firm with whom we have had contact. Never did I have my questions unanswered nor never was I made to feel that my request for information was a bother. That is worth so much when the client is dealing with other major stressors.

On February 5tth , 2016 I was diagnosed with Malignant Pericardial Mesothelioma. Upon reading about this disease, I learned very quickly that my prognosis was bleak at best . I originally was contacted by a different law firm than SWMW , however they gave my case over to SWMW shortly after my initial interview with them. That turned out to be the BEST thing that happened to me . I could tell within the first couple of contacts with SWMW law that they had my interest in the forefront . I am quite pleased with SWMW LAW and their services in regards to their work on my suit. This suit, is a lengthy process and I realize how much more, time than I imagined, it would take. I feel that each time I called with questions regarding the progress of the suit that the para-legal, Lyndsay, on my case explained the many different areas that take so much time in settlement agreements.
