I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Flavor Chef Catering. The food was superb and the staff was amazing, they showed up early to set up and made sure the food was a perfect flow and amount. I cannot tell you how many times during the evening, that I heard "the food is fantastic" and the calls I received the following day about the food and the chef and the server! If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have worked a lot with Flavor Chef for work events so I knew I would be able to trust them with my wedding. My husband and I had Flavor Chef as our caterers, servers, bartenders and day of coordinator. Madison, as always, made everything so easy for us while planning, and was extremely responsive to all the changes we had. Flavor Chef catered our backyard wedding for 76 people out in oceanside about a month ago. Mind you, we did not have a Wedding Planner or Day of Coordinator, so we relied a lot on our vendors just knowing what to do, and that is exactly what Flavorchef did!

Highly recommend Flavor Chef Catering if you want a touch of class at your event!! I had a Halloween Costume Party for my Breast Cancer Team's 10th Anniversary Celebration. Steven Thompson the Sales Consultant was awesome. I called with very specific "wants" to serve 40 - 45 guest. Steven worked with me to coordinate the best food ever!! We used Steven and colleagues from Flavor Chef Catering for our daughter's Sweet 16 party., which was held on Camp Pendleton with about 40 guests in attendance. We chose the BBQ menu, and it was fantastic. From first contact to setup to service, the entire experience was fantastic. We are still receiving comments about how great the food was. Flavor Chef Catering is simply AMAZING!! Everything was so delicious, and most importantly served fresh and hot! For hours d'oeuvres we served bacon wrapped dates (My personal favorite,) avocado toast, and chicken kabobs (pictured below.) For dinner we did prime rib, mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetable melody, and a salad. The prime rib was amazing, it's not easy to prepare a well cooked meat for 50 guests and they executed everything perfectly! This has been long overdue. I want to thank Madison for putting up with me and all of my changes! The hospitality was GREAT and the food was EVEN BETTER.
The food was amazing. We had an original plated course meal and went to a tasting. WE WERE STUFFED and the food was so good.
We had to postpone to 3 different dates and so so thankful that they were able to accommodate.
We ended up going with a more laid back evening and did The Flavor Mobile. It was the talk of the night! My family was raving about how delicious the food was.

We LOVED the food! Working with Madison was great...she was very responsive and helpful. We did a private tasting before our wedding and were very impressed by the food that we hired them to do our wedding. Everyone was raving at the wedding about the tri-tip with chimichurri and the garlic mashed potatoes. I personally LOVED the salted caramel brownie dessert. Madison and Derek created the most beautiful meal to celebrate my best friend's 40th birthday. Madison answered all of my emails quickly and kindly. It was easy to add on rentals, even at the last minute. The food was delicious. Canapes were a huge hit and the short rib was perfect. They were both so friendly while cooking and serving. Flavor Chef Catering was AMAZING to work with for my Sprinkle Baby Shower. I emailed them through Yelp based on their reviews and my experience from start to finish was beautiful. One of the best dinners ever served at a wedding! We had to postpone then cancel our wedding venue all together due to the pandemic. We pivoted and planned a micro wedding instead with under 40 people. We rented a VRBO and hosted the wedding reception in the backyard. I was looking for a caterer for my husbands USMC retirement and was randomly searching yelp and came across Flavor Chef Catering. Im so glad I did. They are amazing, I could not have been any more impressed than I was. His prices were more than reasonable and when ALL the food arrived I was even more impressed.
