This is not the company they used to be. We have been strung along for 4 weeks now. They don’t want to bother with any work that’s an effort on their part.
Then we had an appointment with them to look at a window and no one showed up. When we called they told us they had an emergency. That’s fine we understand that, but couldn’t someone call and say we have to cancel the appointment? So long Tradeway. You used to be a good business. Not anymore.

I had 2 broken windows I needed replaced. Quality is fine, but it took one month to complete and I never once received a call regarding when the job would be completed. I had to call for an update for every step of the process, including when the installer would be back after the first replacement glass didn't fit. I assumed when I was told the glass would be re-cut to the correct size in 1 day, the installation would be within a couple of days of that. After a week without hearing from them, I called and was told it would be about a week until they could install. Note that I live 2 minutes

I don't know how their craftsmanship is. I have a complex broken shower door (out of code, from the 1950s) with a mold issue. Yes, not the most desirable jobs to attack. But instead of having the courage to say upfront they don't want to do the job, they took my deposit and strung me along from May 20 to August 17. They do not return calls, not even when promising to in a half hour or the next day. I had to call three times and then go there in person to get my deposit back. When I went in the place, I saw how disorganized their record keeping is, with stacks of invoices strewn on the

Called them and got a quote on the size glass I needed. They said it would be $40 taxes included. As I go in they then change their price to $89 for the exact thing I asked for over the phone..

Bottom line is they’re FAKE friendly, they certainly aren’t fast, and they were $30-$40 more than any other shop. So I brought a piece of glass in to have cut and installed and they were really phony friendly when I walked in, then after three days of the glass being there, I thought it was being cut and ready for installation, I got a phone call saying that they cannot install the glass in a mobile home because I didn’t buy it from them. So I called back and asked why, she had some bull about it being a two person job ( the mirror was a standard 56“ x 32“)and they would have to charge

Years ago Tradeway Glass was THE place to go for window work if you were in and around Covina. That has all changed. If, and I mean if, you can get them to show up you are likely to get attitude. Once I asked twice for them to come to my home for window replacement and nobody ever showed. Just recently, one of the retail buildings my family owns needed a door repaired. It took two attempts to get them out to see what they could do. The tenant tells me the person who finally came by was rude from the time he arrived and then disappeared! No word back. I'm sure if all you need is a piece

Super fast and friendly service. I needed a piece for my exposure unit for screen printing and they cut the piece that I needed then and there. The whole process took about 15 mins. I was out of there in no time. I would support this mom and pop shop and would choose it over a bigger business in the area.

Just a brief shout out to a local business who does great work...

I had a memory box which had sentimental value to me because it has a photo of my late dad who was an avid fisherman and some of the homemade lures that he made and painted in it. It was sitting around in a bag ever since the last earthquake tremor passed though these parts a year or two ago when it fell over and smashed the glass. At first I thought it would be easiest to find a replacement memory box from Michaels or some other store but I found that the boxes were not the same size and would require me to redo the layout and
