All cases come with a choice of oak or mahogany wooden base. Each base is finished with a hand rubbed stain and protected with several coats of polyurethane. The glass top is made of 1/8 double strength glass with solid brass corners. All display cases are custom made to order. Our unique shipping crates and packing techniques allow us to ship our cases complete and fully assembled.
Services
Our experience in woodworking began over 20 years ago with home construction, remodeling and restoration. We were hired by a local antique dealer for finish work on his house and store. While remodeling his store in 1985, Ken asked for assistance in completing a display case for a prized ship model he was building.
Every case is handmade here in our shop from planing and choosing the right wood and stain to cutting and installing each piece of glass and brass to fit perfectly. We work with museums and nonprofit organizations to produce custom display cases within time and budgetary restrictions. All display cases are custom-built to your specifications.
