At that time I will discontinue the Ear, Nose and Throat and Allergy portion of our practice. Our Dermatology division with Elena Giese, CNP, and our Image Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy services will continue robustly full time for the foreseeable future. My wife, Jill, will continue her cosmetic practice, "Aesthetics by Jill", unchanged.

I will continue to be involved with the Dermatology practice and will provide surgical services for our dermatology patients as needed. The practice will be renamed "Alamogordo Dermatology". Patients may contact our office to obtain medical records. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our community for their warm support over the last 27+ years.
Services
Dr. Frost has been practicing Otolaryngology in Alamogordo since 1993 and has enjoyed providing care for a broad range of ENT problems to the children and adults of southern New Mexico ever since. His areas of special interest are nasal and sinus disease. He has particularly enjoyed the successes afforded by the new minimally invasive procedure for treating sinus disease; Balloon Sinuplasty.
The sinuses, or more properly, "Paranasal Sinuses", are air filled spaces connected to the nasal passages. The exact purpose of the sinuses is not known for certain, but all mammals have them. They may provide more surface area to produce mucus in the nose for moisturization of inhaled air, or they may simply be present to lighten the weight of the head.
Dr. Frost performs outpatient surgery at the Southern New Mexico Surgery Center. The Surgery Center is a small facility with the most modern equipment available, and carefully selected staff, who provide top quality care in the most comfortable environment possible.

We offer the full range of Hearing and Balance testing with state of the art equipment including soundproof booths, Tympanometry, and Otoacoustic Emmisions (OAEs), which can determine a child's level of hearing without any voluntary responses.Vestibular or balance evaluation is done with Infrared Video Nystagmography (VNG), Vestibular Autorotation Testing (VAT), and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP).
Botox and Dysport are naturally occurring proteins which have the ability to precisely relax muscles to which they are applied, minimizing skin creases, lines and wrinkles, and allowing you to look relaxed and refreshed. This muscle relaxation lasts for about 3 months before more treatment is needed to extend the benefit.
Allergy shots work like a vaccine. Your body responds to injected amounts of a particular allergen, given in gradually increasing doses, by developing immunity or tolerance to the allergen. This involves receiving injections with increasing amounts of the allergens. The length of this phase depends upon how often the injections are received, but generally ranges from three to six months.

This office has changed and is now Alamogordo dermatologist office. The admin folks are very caring and extremely helpful. I really enjoy my visits now. And the work is stellar. I broke out in a rash from something in the dust storms and within two days of my visit they were healing and disappearing. Thanks everyone there.

I called to make an appointment with the dermatologist and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. After asking for the fax number he rudely hung up in me and when I called right back to ask for her name she made up an excuse for dropping the call. Chances are because of that first impression I will not be going to this facility. Annie, after reading the other reviews, it may be best if you take a class or two on customer service.

Front office staff was polite, but the new nurse (replaced Wilkerson) is beyond horrible, opinionated, rude, catty & left me with two huge holes in my skin where she took biopsies. On top of that, I was charged $250 for the pleasure of having to deal with that excuse for a medical professional. Never again. I'll drive to Las Cruces.

They are charging me for an office visit that my husband paid on that day. They were not very friendly. I have talked to these people and no one answers, the voice mail is full or they don’t return your call. 😡😡😡. Ugh I hope I never have to go there.

I have attempted to make an appointment with this office. The rudest woman answers the phone. She quizzed me about my symptoms. She told me I would need a scope put down my throat. HOW CAN THIS WOMAN DECIDE MY TREATMENT? She's not a medical professional. Will go to another doctor before I ever go to Alamo ENT. I called several months ago and received the same treatment. Her name is Annie.

Showed up to my son's 830am appointment to the doors locked and no one there after waiting over a month for the appointment and they do not answer their phones. After leaving they finally get around to opening there office and answering the phones at 1040am when they closed at noon that day. This office was the only office we can schedule with in town. Ended up scheduling with an office in Las Cruses that actually answers their phones. Never have I ever dealt with such ridiculous professionalism and ethics. I had to leave a one star rating in order to write this review. If I was that late I'd be

His office staff will take a month to get authorization for a routine diagnostic test that doesn’t require any authorization at all. They won’t even bother to call your insurance to find that you can get the test done immediately. Expect them to drag their feet and not take your health seriously.

Dr. Frost has been great with my 3yo for appts and surgery for ear tubes. He's very quick and does a great job. The staff is on top of making sure referrals are up to date.
