As a Commercial Landscaping Contractor, FSL was an early adopter of hydroseeding technology, part of the ongoing FSL strategy of providing innovative landscape construction solutions. HydroSeeding is a planting process in which a mix containing high quality seed, hydro seeding mulch, fertilizer and a bonding agent is sprayed onto the area of need.
Erosion control and soil stabilization are two areas that FSL, a commercial landscaping contractor since 1980, specializes in, utilizing state of the art equipment and operators that are highly trained and professionally certified. Technically, erosion is the wearing away of natural (earth) and unnatural (embankment, slope protection, structure, etc.) surfaces by the action of external forces.
CNLA is the state trade association that represents Connecticut's nurseries, garden centers, landscapers, nursery and perennial growers, and landscape designers. The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is the world s oldest and largest association devoted to helping members solve the problems caused by erosion and its byproduct sediment.

I spoke with the owner on a Monday about hydroseeding, he said he would send someone out the next day to give me a quote. No one came out the next day. Left 2 voice mail messages on Wednesday. No answer. Left two more voice mail messages on Thursday. No answer. Actually spoke with his office assistant on Friday, explained I have not heard back and cannot reach him. She politely told me she would get the message to him and he would call me. Never called me. Do me a favor, if you're not interested in the job, or you're too busy, just say so. Not getting back to people who leave you 5 messages is

George has been helping us with our landscaping for the past few years. He and his team are very professional, efficient and reliable. When they did the spring clean up (mulch, rake, edging, etc.) it was immaculate! Additionally, George has removed several trees for us. He was very honest about which trees had to go (rotted, carpenter ants) and which trees were healthy. He has always worked within our budget. I would recommend him a million times over!
