Scott Woodworking is David W. Scott, designer and furniture builder since 1981. Here in the mountains of Western North Carolina, I build contemporary furniture and accessories in fine hardwoods, both local and from around the world.
My products include tables, from coffee tables to dining tables; three-legged stools in all heights; rocking chairs; mirrors; and accessories such as clocks for the desk and wall. I also do a great deal of commissioned work, ordered by the customer wanting a particular piece for a special place in their home.

I grew up near Charlotte but ended up in college in Vermont, where the woodworking bug first bit me. That led me back to Western North Carolina to the Crafts Program at Haywood Community College from 1978 to 1980.
