The shading technique is used to build the full brow while fading out towards the front of the brow. Everyone is eligible for this type of brow. Touch up at 6-8 weeks is included. The shading technique is used to build the body of the brow while microbladed hairstrokes are placed at the front of the brow.
Microblading is a form of permanent cosmetics/cosmetic tattooing. Pigment is inserted into the upper dermis of the skin using a hand tool with a blade comprised of tiny needles. Hair like strokes are drawn into the skin using the tool to mimic natural hair flow. Microblading is a more subtle cosmetic tattoo than those done using older methods.
Permanent cosmetics cannot be done on individuals who: are under 18 years old, pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing chemotherapy, currently taking accutane or have in the past 6 months, have skin diseases such as shingles, psoriasis, or eczema on the area of treatment, get keloid scarring, get hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation from wounds, taking steroids or antibiotics, have hemophilia, autoimmune disorders, liver disease, or have any severe heart conditions.
After the procedure, gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this as needed until the secretion of fluid has stopped (usually 1-2 hours after). Removing the fluid prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids. 1 time a day, gently clean your brows with the green soap provided using a cotton pad.
If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex virus) even just having one, you must get a prescription medicine from your doctor for Valtrex or similar antiviral. Even if you have never experienced a cold sore it is STRONGLY suggested that you also get this prescription. Data suggests that 50-80% of the adult population has this virus.

I have always been self conscious about my brows. They have always been much lighter and to be frank, non-existent. I used to never leave the house without “doing my brows.” I can honestly say my self confidence has been tremendously better since visiting Loreal. She has so much talent, knowledge and thoughtfulness going into each appointment. Cannot recommend her more!

Loreal microbladed my eyebrows at the end of December 2019. Guys, I can’t even begin to explain how much I love them! I’ve got dark auburn hair and very light eyebrows so when she was able to darken them up and give them a beautiful shape, I could have cried they looked so good! My confidence has gone up drastically since having them done and people constantly complement my eyebrows even 7 months later! I now live in Houston, but I will travel back to California to have them touched up because SHE IS THE BEST.
