Houston Washburn is from Duluth, Georgia and is the son of attorneys Margaret Gettle Washburn and Lawrence Lee Washburn III. Houston graduated from the University of Georgia where he majored in International Affairs in the School of Public and International Affairs. Scott A. Mitchell is a general practice attorney licensed in South Carolina and Georgia. Established as a Family Law Attorney, he also has a background in Wills and Personal Injury. From the Department of Juvenile Justice to the U.S. Peace Corps, Scott Mitchell has worked with a risk youth for over twenty years.

Horrible customer service. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but what happened yesterday infuriated me. I am going through divorce and a friend of mine advised me to give Margaret a call. He talked wonders about her and described her as an out of this world attorney. I initially called her office in early November and spoke with Stephanie. Since that day I noticed a nasty attitude from her, she said that Margaret could not see me and she offered to meet with me. She was highly recommended to me, but what I wasn't told was that she doesn't offer free consult, I had decided to retain her on the day that I went in for my consultation. However, I guess I took too long to get back to her, because she never called me back after calling her office back twice & I mentioned to the receptionist both times that I was ready with all requested docs. Margaret Washburn is THE BEST. She is efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and she really does work for her clients. She is extremely responsive and she gets things done in a very timely manner. Most attorneys will stall, delay and do all sorts of unnecessary things in an effort to collect more money from their client and it usually takes them forever.
