I have to join those that say don't do business with this company.

I ordered the California Gourmet Wine Gift Basket, which was on sale at the time. What they shipped was the California Cabernet Wine Gift Set. Even at the sale price, I paid more than the full price of what I got.

What was received was also pretty second-rate. The crackers were hardly more than a handful, same for the pretzels, and the cheese is a greasy blend of something. At 2 oz each, the crackers and pretzels are half the size of the smallest bags of chips at the gas station.

I ordered a Christmas package for my daughter & their online order system said it would be delivered no later than Dec. 24th. It's now the 27th & she hasn't received it, so I called Hickory Farms customer service to find out where it was. I was told that my order is with Fedex & could be for up to 10 business days. The customer service rep was rude & uncaring & said it was out of their hands. Anyway, if you're planning to place an order & timing is an issue, I would not recommend ordering anything from Hickory Farms!!

Worst experience ever!! They lost my order I called three separate times and after spending 30 minutes on the phone the last call the representative told me there was nothing she could do to help me and they totally missed the holiday. I'll never order from them again and you should save your money in the headache too.

I was just recently at the store in the ohio valley mall in st.clairsville. Poor customer service. i had purchased the wrong cheese balls and didn't realize until i had already and she put them in the bag. when i asked her if i could exchange them she told me no because it was food. i can see if i had left the store with them then came back but i was still right in front of her. i will never return to hickory farms again. the product was awesome. its just their customer service

I bought 8 baskets from Hickory Farms 2 weeks before Christmas. I paid expedited fees to get the baskets before Christmas. These were Christmas gifts. 4 baskets were received on the 17th. The other 4 just showed up on Monday, 12/28/20. They won't credit the expedited fees for shipping. Customer service couldn't tell me why the other 4 baskets were not getting delivered. I was told that FedEX had them but they didn't. Tracking was showing different information than what they were giving.
I won't ever order from this group again.

I placed an order with hickory farms on Dec 21st 2020, order # WOO332667 it was the hearty party gift box, I paid $85.89 including shipping and handling. I never got updates about my order, On the 27th I wrote to the customer service and an agent told me my order had not shipped because it was not in stock yet, nobody informed me about that, so he suggested that I could either wait longer or have a refund; Furthermore, I requested a refund many times and no one answered me back, they completely ignored my request.
I called customer service Dec 31st and they said my order was going to arrive that

When shopping online on Black Friday, a Hickory Farms pop-up said that I would receive 10% off my first purchase if I sent my email. I did not receive the code that they said I would receive in my "Welcome Email". I called the customer service line and was first told that it would automatically apply when I checked-out and to call back if it didn't. Well, it didn't, so I called back and spoke to another employee. I signed up on the website just last night to receive emails from Hickory Farms. Last night, I received an email (December 1, 2020 at 11:46). I tried today to use the BOGO for 50% and the four people I spoke with said that it was not something they could honor. Jennifer, the supervisor, said that it was only for Cyber Monday. Nowhere in the email did it say Cyber Monday. And I didn't sign up for emails on Cyber Monday. It was Tuesday night when I signed up, and it was Tuesday night when I received the email. I wish I would have seen reviews before I ordered a gift basket for a sick friend in the hospital. The delivery date has been pushed back again, it's now up to ten days. Never again - these reviews alone would have definitely changed my mind.

This cheese tasted like plastic. We bought a box at the mall on December 30, 2019 at the Albuquerque mall location. I tasted the Gouda, smoked cheddar, and mission jack- all tasted like plastic- no flavor- and the summer sausage was waxy. I have 2 unopened cheeses- trashing them in the morning. I'll never buy this again.

I ordered our company Christmas gifts to give to clients etc. from Hickory Farms. The boxes came beautifully packaged and there were a lot of them! Everything was delicious (we may have kept one for ourselves lol). I also just tried the pork ribs. We had them for father's day dinner. They were excellent quality and so good! I've been happy with customer service and the great prices.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would! This review is based on customer service and not on the items ordered.
I ordered a basket for a large family who was getting together from far and wide to celebrate the life of their beloved father who had recently passed. I placed the order on April 8th with the guarantee "to arrive on or before April 12". I was surprised that I didn't hear anything regarding the basket, so I asked my friend if it had arrived. Unfortunately the basket arrived on April 15th at 11:00 AFTER most of the family had returned home.

I'm always puzzled how businesses like this get away with such poor customer service. I ordered a gift tower for a loved one's 80th birthday. It never arrived. On the day it was supposed to arrive, 8/23/19 I was unable to find any tracking information so I called customer service In the morning to find out where it was. The agent was unable to tell me and said she would send a message to the warehouse and call me back. She never called me back. I called later in the afternoon and spoke with another agent who said that she was unable to tell me where the package was and would send another

Note on the packing label specifically stated that one item was for one family member and the other item for my 90 year old mother
When the package was opened, my mother called me to tell me the Sweet and Salty Nut Sampler was not in the box. This was the item for her.
We then called Hickory Farms Customer Service and were informed that this item was out of stock 2 weeks prior.

Very unhappy, poor customer service, they don't adhere to their shipping statements and they offer little to no compensation for their mistakes. I ordered over $1600 in goods for our clients from HF and even though they were offering free shipping I paid for 2-day to insure that my items were delivered on time. 6 days after my order I'm still wondering where everything is. My call was met with excuse after excuse and at one point the CSR said she'd put in a request for information for me and I should hear back within 24 hours via email. WHAT? I don't want to hear where

I ordered a basket for an elderly neighbor... a week goes by and I get an email letting me know the basket is on backorder. Why would it take a week to advise on backorders? Now I have to scramble and find something else.

Total Failure to provide the product and any resolution, do not buy anything from Hickory Farms!!! I order a gift basket on 12/19/13. The person I sent it to did not receive it by Christmas as promised by Hickory Farms, in fact not at all!! I tried using the tracking number on their website and the service doesn't work! Further, I tried the tracking number on UPS and it's an invalid number. If this were related to the UPS or Fedex issues that many retailers had this year, then maybe a statement to that effect should have been posted on their website. Next, I tried the customer service

Just spent an hour driving in the cold rain looking for a Hickory Farms. Their website store locator is out-of-date. The following Publix location no longer exists:

I called and reported the error and the manager kept putting me on hold while I was talking to him. Very rude. The least he could do is say, "Thank you." Merry Christmas to you sir!
